Honestly I’m not even sure I’m going to get a Wii U. I’m definitely not getting one at launch. I was overall pretty disappointed in the Wii. From about 2009 on I’ve pretty much barely played it, especially compared to my 360 and PS3. The key will be if they get some exclusives that interest me. Like if they get a few Resident Evil exclusives, then I’m there. Honestly Mario and even Zelda exclusives aren’t really enough to get me to throw the cash down.
After the conference I preorder the Basic bundle at Gamestop. To me I feel this one of Nintendo’s best launch lineup seeing how I’ll be buying four games on launch day. I don’t have an issue with the storage since external hard drives have gotten smaller and the Wii U can support a 3 TB HDD. Once again this is coming from someone whos Wii is still dust free until I transfer my VC and WW purchases.
