  Totally agree with the Gears of War and Halo hate-on. Two series that just don’t evolve in my mind and I just find extremely boring. Already said Black Ops 2 will probably be my last Call of Duty game. I enjoy the MW3 multiplayer on the most part, but Black Ops is by far a greater overall package. Good single player, good multiplayer and mega-fun zombies mode that I’m still playing 2 years later. I’m getting Black Ops 2 and then I’m done with those games.

  As good as the 3 looks I hope they take a break with Assassin’s Creed after this year. 1 was good, but very flawed, I loved 2, Brotherhood has the best gameplay in the series but a stupid story with one of the worst endings in gaming and Revelations was ok but didn’t add much at all. 3 looks incredible, but Ubisoft give the series a break for awhile please…

  I’m pretty much taking a break with several game series. I’m not even sure I’m going to get Black Ops 2 or Halo 4, maybe in a year when there’s a price drop but honestly I don’t care about either. I’m excited for Resident Evil 6 mainly because I’m an RE fanboy, and I’ve preordered Assassin’s Creed 3 because I still love that series. Other than that, I’m pretty burnt out on most video game series. I’m not bothering getting a Wii U because I couldn’t care less about the Mario series anymore. The next Metal Gear game….zzzzz. I’m mildly interested in the Devil May Cry reboot, but other than that Dead Space 3 is the only other sequel I want.

  So for the next good year, there are about 4 games I want that I will probably buy, and other than that, I’ll probably just play the games I already own.

    Not going to lie, RE6 looks really good and seems to have something for everyone. And, for now, none of the modes are DLC!

    I’m a huge Devil May Cry fan so DmC is a must, and Dead Space 3 although I’m worried about it. I’m sure it’ll be fine as I was extremely worried about Dead Space 2 and it turned out awesome! Black Ops 2 seems fresh enough that I’ll enjoy it. Halo 4, nothing has wowed me about it.

  I am forever burned out on driving games. All of them. I used to love them. Now I don’t. Other than Mario Kart, I just can’t stand them anymore.

  By the way, Roo is awesome. I love 16-bit Gems.
