When I was coming up with what is now "Hard News", this was the test run. My initial idea was to have "Talk Soup" news but for video games. This video does not depict that but it was a test of using two cameras and a possibility of what we could do with it. I did not want what G4 did nor what others were doing at the time, but something fun and would keep people updated in the gaming industry.

I would watch this.
That was very surreal.
Pretty cool. I would tell you to go for that show here but I’m sure you’d be criticized for “stealing” Hard News.
If you made GH weekly news kinda like this test run, I would watch it, tell everyone everyone else about it, and a link. I like this format.
I meant to say tweet a link. Fingers are malfunctioning lol.
Actually with the current “issues” with Hard News right now, now might be a good time to unveil this.
Can’t say I’m aware of the “issues” as I don’t got to the site anymore, but as for this. I like it a lot, I’d watch it.
I think what ResidentialEvil is talking about is that Jared left ScrewAttack, and he did the Hard News segment. Since SA doesn’t really have anyone that could really substitute Jared, this would be a really good time to unveil a new GH weekly news.
Yeah this is what I’m referring to; although Jared confirmed he didn’t leave, he was fired.
Anyway, yes, I say go for it.
Yeah, I looked it up after asking about it. Shame he got fired. Would be kind of funny if he joined Blistered Thumbs or something seeing as him and Angry Joe have been getting buddy buddy lately. I won’t go into conspiracy theories though.
Craig did one of these wayyyy back also. I just happened to be doing a news show way back then on GT about the same time
And thus began the news show history.
Whats funny is that 8-Bit Mickey wrote the script for the one Craig did. We hired him to do the news but for some reason that never worked out, so he was told to write scripts. We brought in a bunch of ppl to try out and he had the most energy and fun, but it was hard to keep that up.
It’s really cool to look back on how all these news shows started. Now there’s a ton of them, but back when you were doing this and Mickey did his stuff it felt like something fresh. I admit I miss doing it too.
How did I just now notice Destin had posted here?
