Super Mario RPG is on SNES.

I don't remember whether or not it's on Virtual Console. It ought to be.

I wish it was but sadly I don't think it is, I wish they had made a sequel to it, such an awesome game.

It is indeed strange that the game has never been ported anywhere. Even a Gameboy Advance port, which seemed only natural, was never planned. I wouldn't hold my breath for a DS port, either, although rumors are buzzing that Square and Nintendo are thinking about a sequel to it. (i.e., a REAL sequel; not Paper Mario/Mario & Luigi)

but Mario and Luigi was a good RPG game. In fact, its the only RPG game I ever played

For SMRPG to get released on VC Nintendo would need Square's permission, and sadly, knowing them we are more likely to see a port of it on the DS for $35-$40.

Mario 3 is the best 2D Mario game and Galaxy is the best 3D one.

Although I don't think I could chose between all the Mario RPGs, but the original SNES one would probably barely make my #1.

I think the bigger question that everybody needs to consider is, where did the Koopalings/Bowser Jr come from, anyway? There is never a "Missus Bowser", and in fact I don't think (m)any of the koopas are female, and just trying to figure out how that would work makes me nauseous. The only logical options are Birdo, Peach, or Daisy...Peach/Daisy if Birdo truly is a male, and that just gets even creepier. The only logical theory that doesn't make me ill is that Bowser reproduces asexually, but I wanna hear what everyone else thinks.

Well, Tom did say in a movie from Screwattack that the kids couldn't just appear out of nowhere. Someone HAS to be the mother....

He means that Square-Enix, the company that co-produced he original Super Mario RPG with Nintendo, are well known for not supporting the Virtual Console. They'd rather make retail copies of their games than sell them for download. One of the very few exceptions thus far has been Actraiser.

See, I didn't want to go down that road because I have had people blow up at me for stealing my "ingenious theories" (delusional ramblings) from sites that I've never visited before. But yeah, the only other explanation is that Peach is not the willing kidnappee that everyone believes her to be, especially in a dress like that. It also explains why Mario never, ever scores with the Princess; she's getting it regularly from Bowser, and doesn't like things that aren't covered in scales, spikes, and evil. Her trip in SMB3 was a ruse to allow her to sneak off and birth the original Koopalings, while SM64 was caused directly from the arrival of Bowser Jr.

Personally, I think Bowser also kidnaps Zelda on the side (this was spawned from SSB: Melee/Brawl), but then that would mean there are two princesses into turtle sex, and that makes me cry tears of anguish and blood.

Bowser is asexual and confused. The thought of him ever having sex is to terrifying for kids to handle but he still goes after Peach anyway. Figures.
