Well, I figure I may as follow it until the Dark Reign arc ends and make my "final judgment" then. Chances are I'll drop it, it's not the first time I've followed a "bad" comic through a story arc (Anita Blake for example.)

Anita Blake is to comics, as Twilight is to books.

Both are pretty horrible examples of their medium, but because they have awesome vampires...people flock to them like flies. I remember when Anita Blake came out and people just went bat shit crazy for it. I was like, this isn't anything new, people.

Well, Anita Blake is a BOOK series apparently that they adapted into Comics, but... meh, it was a borefest for me.

I never got into the Comic (or the book for that matter). I did listen to an interview of the author done by Captain Awesome for TWiG.

Alright. I just read Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk #4 and for fucks sake nothing has happened yet!
We literally have 4 issues so far of back story.
Issue 1: Wolverine leading up to fight with Hulk.
Issue 2: Hulk leading up to fight with Wolverine.
Issue 3: Wolverine and Hulk leading up to the "rip" that we see in issue number 1.
Issue 4: Back story on the new She Hulk with the issue ending pretty much exactly where issue 3 left off. That being with her, Hulk and Wolverine just standing around.

*groan* this is pathetic </3 .

Anyway, my read list this week:
-Amazing Spider-Man #591
-Captain America #49
-Punisher #4
-Rampaging Wolverine
-Secret Invasion Aftermath: Beta Ray Bill - The Green Eden
-Sub-Mariner Comics 70th Anniversary Special

"Marvel's: Eye of the Camera" is basically a sequal to "Marvel's".

What it boils down to is Phil Sheldon (the main character from Marvel's) finds out that he has cancer, is pressured into doing some kind of sequal to his book and eventually decides to write one (I forget what about exactly).

*pretty minor spoilers ahead*

At the same time we're getting into the era where Marvels anti-heroes (Wolverine, Punisher, etc) are popping up and Phil is questioning wether heroes really are such a good thing to have around (there are other reasons than just the anti-heroes but that was the big thing I think). He really feels this way when he sees Spider-Man fighting along side the Punisher and dropping Mr. Hyde from the statue of Liberty. I think this even causes Phil to decide not to write his new book, though I'm a little hazy on details.
Certain events cause him to change his mind again though and he gets back into his book.

*end of minor spoilers*

I'm not great with summarizing stuff, but that's about where it's at.

It's just like Marvel's was in that we're getting a look at certain events from Marvel's different books at certain periods of time (70's and 80's era in this case so far) from the perspective of your average Joe...only this time he has cancer.
Kind of unnecessary since it seems like a case of "this worked before, let's do it again" but it's still pretty fun IMO.
