Well it plays all the regular DS games, so if you consider any DS games good, well there ya go!

Warioware on DSi anyone? Those games always rock! And how about a remake of the Game Boy Camera in general? I loved that thing so much back then!

Don't be surprised, i wouldn't be. In fact i would be surprised if they didn't.

Wow... that's pretty nuts. Yeah, if Nintendo doesn't make that then i'm going down there and slapping somebody until they do it.

That's only a plus assuming one doesn't already have a DS.

It's been unofficially announced,

http://ds.kombo.com/article.php?artid=7007

GB, GBC, & GBA games will be available for download on the DSi.

---

The only questions I have for nintendo is...
Can I also play the DSi downloaded games on my wii?
What about NES, SNES, N64 games on my DSi?

Those features would create much epic win!

I already own a DS Lite, so I really don't need or care about the DSi.

I was just about to say this. :) I've written Nintendo about this idea since the DS was first announced. :P

But hey, now we can look forward to games on the Virtual Console, WiiWare, DSi Ware, the DSi Virtual Console, and the normal games that will be released for both of Nintendo consoles... plus, other games on other consoles... needless to say, we have a ton to look forward to. :)

As for me, I can't wait to play Link's Awakening again... I mean, I own it the game for the Gameboy, and the DX version for the Gameboy color, not to mention both copies in my computer so I can play them here too... Holy Crap... this game is awesome. It might be my favorite soundtrack to any video game ever. No joke.

Go register the DS on club nintendo, even if you registered it before the switch, it'll work and they'll give you a new 90 day warranty.
I just did this and got my touch screen (it wouldn't calibrate) and the hinge crack fixed. And they actually fixed it, I got the same DS back, not another refurbished model.

It let me re-register it, but... it did NOT extend my warranty, NOR did it give me any more coins...

So I'm going to go to GameStop (Along with my two friends who also paid for the DSi in full already) to pick this thing up tonight. Though after reading on CAG & hearing a GS message from my friends phone, I have two questions to bring up.

1. CAG says the Game Days sales start tonight during the DSi launch, is this true?
2. According to the message (not automated) to my friend, it said our GS would be releasing the DSi at 10 PM, but then when they went there they changed it back to midnight. Has anyone also been told that it was 10 and not 12?

Meh, less reason for me to care about the DS-i, but the way Reggie words his shit it's very ambiguous, he's just like "We haven't thought of that yet." but he never really says "That will never happen."

The only real thing that interests me about the DSi, are the larger Screens, and why is there no White DSi?
Anyways, I don't know, I wont be upgrading anytime soon unless there are games that offer some innovative gameplay with the Camera. And to hear that there are no plans for its own Portable Virtual Console is a dissapointment, it would be a very smart move to make. But for me, I'd rather have the actual games.

I agree. It kinda pisses me off that all they are doing is releasing a new DS...I mean...not a new generation of DS...but just a DS with some new add-ons. That's a crock of shit in my opinion.

So, here I am trying to convert some mp3 files to the AAC format using http://media-convert.com which usually works fine, but every time I put the converted AAC file on my DSi, it can never find it! It's becoming rather annoying now... so is anyone else having the same problem?

Have you checked the manual? It might need some extra information to recognize songs in the DSi.

I don't have one (yet?) so, I can't comment further.

I'm unsure, but the bigger Screens, the GB/GBA Virtual Console and DS WiiWare Games are a big plus.
I'm not sure I care about the Camera though, unless certain games pump out some innovative stuff for it, and i dont care for the whole SD Card thing. The thing is though is that i don't want to drop $199 for one at the moment...And besides they havent release a White DSi in America....So i'm holding off. Anyways, there are too many good games coming out for the Wii that i'm interested in.
