I'm assuming at this point my idea of a fantasy baseball league has been shot down, yes? I guess we don't have even close to enough people anyway.

Good to see this thread isn't dying or anything.

I hope the same theory dosn't apply in reverse. I started rooting for the Jays around 94. We all know how good they have done since.

That's mainly cause the Jays are from Canada and baseball is AMERICA's pastime. Basically, Canada sucks.

But 90% of the Jays players are American. What does that tell you?

That they are a bunch of losers...hence why they now live in Canada...and not AMERICA!

You said so yourself...the Jays have sucked since '94...the Bluejays are where baseball players go to die. So that 90% you all have. You can keep them. ;-)

lmao the yankee's are gonna suck such balls this year it's not even funny...it was already proven the past few years spending millions of dollars for top ranking players only get's you so far...and by that I mean either out by the first round or not even making the playoffs at all lmao. I don't think Burnette is gonna succeded that much...after all once u wreck his rhythm hes horrible and not to mention that he's been hurt alot these past few years. Halliday is sooo much better! I HOPE HE STAYS FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRR. He's one of the few pitches who call pull off complete games as if it was paper work.

AND BEESLO I HOPE U DIE! from humiliation when we do better than ur bosox...bleh FYI Jason bay...who replaced ramirez...hes canadian too :P and Roy Halliday is far from dying off bro, he was second in voting for the best pitcher in the league...forgot who he lost to lmao prolly cause i don't care.

You will give me the tickets.

Just because I'm a Twins fan doesn't mean I can't enjoy other baseball.

Thats my approach to it also (but replace Twins with Jays). I try to catch at least one NL game a year. I usually ether end up going to a Mets game or a Cubs game. It looks like I'll be going to Wrigley Field this year though.

I remember going to a Phillies game a while back, don't really remember much about it though. Other than that I don't think I've been to many non-Twins games.

If you ever see a game at Yankee stadium, do not wear the away teams jersey.

If you ever see a game at Yankee stadium...let me know, because they tore that sucker down. As far as I'm concerned, what they opened for next season is not Yankee Stadium.

I remember seeing this on The Colbert Report awhile back and i don't know if it's actually true...but how stupid is it to arrest someone cause he had to go pee during the national anthem? I swear that place takes everything way to fucking seriously sometimes.

And Rusty every game that has Halliday pitching is always exciting :D

That would have been in the Nailed 'em segment, there was also a guy arrested for taking pictures at an Amtrak station of the trains for Amtrak's train picture competition.

Yup. I got him to autograph a jersey after a game last year. It was awesome.

How has Santana been? I haven't really been paying attention to that guy in a while...

You mean ever since he ditched the Twins? I wouldn't know. However, I can tell you that I don't give two shits about AJ Burnett (because he left the Jays for the Yanks) anymore. I shall heckle him if he ever plays a game that I'm at.

U should jump onto the pitch and set a blue jays jersey with his number and name on it on fire lol XD

And yeah in the end people like Santana i hate...they go there for the money but say they have a good chance of winning but so what? They had a good chance of winning last year, but they still sucked balls. Also the mets are gonna screw up at the end as always, bullpen will start off good, but then *digs a hole 50 feet deep* it will be here after the allstar game XD
