I had this game on the PC and overall: if you like educational games it's not too bad.
However if you don't like educational games consider this one of the worst Mario games ever cause i don't wanna travel around with Luigi an get a geography lesson NO,i wanna kick some ass!

Hey guys

jumping on a "oh hay that game sucks" bandwagon because a certain someone you look up to doesn't like it, regardless if you yourself have played it or not, is rather pathetic.

If you think a game sucks, give some god damn reasons other than "lol edutainment"

Also, to the OP...

Stop farting around on the Internet waiting for opinionated responses, and fucking play the game and develop an opinion for yourself.

"hey guys i bought a game but before i play it... is it any good?"

Jesus Christ.

I have seen some videos online but I have not played it because my NES is broken. I'm getting a new one soon. Also, I would like to think that there is more to forums then just getting opinions and asking questions. It's fun for me to read other peoples topics and read witty and/or funny replies. I made this topic because I've never really heard of this game before and I thought I would get some funny replies as well as some opinions, not some asshole telling me to quit farting around and develop my own opinion.

I'm sure I will like this game because I will play almost anything if it amuses me or keeps my attention. Remember, we play games for fun, not to bitch about mediocre controls or silly storyline.

I played this when I was a kid. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why this game stunk. I rented it three times, gave it a chance I did. It just flopped in my opinion

From everything I heard about the game, it's like Carmen Sandiego with Mario, except not as successful or fun. I'm just going by what I've heard though.

Ok folks, calm down. Let's not break into a fight or anything. I think Miss Emily is just a little bitter towards people only following outside opinions on video games rather then making their own judgment by playing it themselves.

Especially when the game is already in their possession, and ROMs are all over the internet.

Having played both games (complete with the best ending on Mario's Time Machine), I can honestly and safely say that Mario Is Missing was much better than Mario's Time Machine. This isn't to say that MiM is good, and in fact it's a terrible game that has me wake up at night screaming on occasion, but at least it had the occasional Koopa Troopa to stomp into the dirt. MTM? Yeah, surfing for mushrooms. Whee.

But it could be much worse; they could have combined the two. Mario Is Missing Somewhere In Time would break all laws of reality and logic with the bad that it would radiate. And with no Koopas to own. And Yoshi could be a ninja.

Now just imagine if this was Capcom, and they made a video game version of the movie.

Super Mario Brothers: The Movie; The Game would be infinitely better than Street Fighter: The Movie; The Game; The Movie; The Game; The Musical...

Are you referring to this game?

http://www.gametrailers.com/game/mario- ... pg-3/10342

If so, I think it looks great. I've always like the Mario RPG series. :) I wonder when it will hit the US shores?

I know I'm hoping to pick it up when it comes out. I enjoyed the first two games.

(Saw this as a forum question)

Which game is ultimately better?

I'm going to have to say Mario 3.

One factor is that I grew up playing Mario 3 almost everyday of my youth. I also find the music far more enjoyable and the graphics more eye pleasing than World. And besides, who DOESN'T want to turn into a FREAKING BEAR than can FLY AND TURN INTO A STATUE?!?!?
