3. Serious topics need to be well thought out when written, they also need to have well thought out replies. Please try to write more than a single sentence. Back up your opinion with facts or something else.

4. Keep a cool and calm head, especially about things such as politics, gay rights, religion, etc. People are allowed to have differing opinions than you, please don't view them as personal attacks, please don't start any sort of major drama or get all offended here. In the end, we're all friends still.

5. Use common sense when posting in here, which simply means ask yourself if this is something really worth posting, are you intentionally being mean to someone, if your topic is ridiculously controversial (IE. Baby Eating), are you accidentally bashing Christianity on Easter Day, etc.

6. In your posts, please try to clarify whether you're speaking based on fact or personal experiences as it will lead to less misunderstandings. Please do not state opinions as if they were facts without proof to back it up.

7. NO DRUNK POSTING.

I never really read those poems, they don't do me any good. Your thinking is flawed. I'm fine with those who come here legally, they're doing what they're supposed to, and I tip my hat to them for going by the rules. It's the illegals that piss me off, and only them. They come here illegally, have their babies here, and then we have a new generation of people who sympathize with rule-breakers (and more Democrats), and even promote such. It's an endless infestation is what it is, and it's seriously fucking up our country. I feel I at least have some grounds to make these comments because I have to deal with these people all the time, and quite honestly, I'd almost rather gouge out my eyes with forks than see another illegal, who knows more Spanish than English, is Democratic, and leeches off of us.

Hey, let's round 'em all up in these encampments and...

oh wait... nevermind, bad idea.

Seriously man, you're tweaking. It's a bad situation, but you're flipping out WAY too much. I've never seen a single soul who couldn't get a job because an illegal immigrant had their position they wanted. If anything, more jobs seem to be lost/non-existant due to outsourcing to other countries.

You know, all that talk of "they do the jobs that most Americans wouldn't want to do" doesn't make any sense to me at all. Those are jobs that teens could be doing to get a little extra cash in their pocket. It's like McDonald's, the way I look at it.

so you're saying that these people should give up their lives and stay in poverty so that some kid can have some extra money for CDs?
wow.. just wow
If you were in their situation, you'd be doing the exact same thing

What lives? Everything that they have here is stolen from us. You're practically saying it's completely unjust that thieves should stop stealing so that the people who they were stealing from could actually keep the stuff they had and live better lives. Also, I'm NOT in their situation, so don't jump to conclusions on how I would act. Even if I did act the same way, that wouldn't change the fact that what I would be doing would be WRONG.

Is it wrong for a starving man to steal a peice of bread to feed his starving family?
NO.
And they're not even stealing anything

That is so racist yet funny at the same time. :-)

Now with that illegal job argument. I think that illegals should be allowed the jobs. Some might have it less fortunate than other people and it seems right to let them have a decent job and a better life. While they might be taking up jobs, they seem to be in jobs that legals might not want to do but if everyone's life is better, than that is what really should matter.

Honestly dude, sit back and think about when you're typing... It seems that anyone who differs from your opinion has to be wrong, right? I think you need to chill out and stop attacking everyone that doesn't agree with your opinions, or dismissing their arguement as obviously false because it differs from your own. That's very disrespectful.

I do think about what I'm typing as I do so, no need to worry about that, mah fine fellow. Not everybody who differs from my opinion is wrong, I've just had yet to see anybody who differs from my opinions to actually be right. I fail to see how I'm attacking anybody on this forum personally, I don't recall mentioning names and spouting things such as "YOU'RE STUPID MR.BLACK, GO CRAWL BACK OVER TO YOUR HOME LAND YOU COMMIE," (just a frivolous example). If anything, I think I've been attacked with statements such as "you're being really selfish man" or "if you were in their situation you'd be doing the same thing" or even "you're very disrespectful".

Anyways, it's almost impossible for conservatives to win an argument with liberals on the internet, because the younger people are usually liberals as opposed to conservatives, and the internet is obviously most used by younger people/ those of this recent generation, so I don't expect to convince any of you guys that you're wrong. I think it's more amusing for you guys to try to convince me that your way of thinking is better/smarter/more efficient/etc., because IMHO your guys' opinions are way more flawed than mine are.

Also, still on the subject of illegal immigrants, those of you who think it's fine and dandy are probably the people who pirate music and tons of other stuff. That, to me, just isn't cool, and shouldn't fly with anybody quite honestly. It seems that society almost doesn't care about following any of the rules any more. Illegals are illegals, and shouldn't be given any privileges whatsoever, because of the fact that they're ILLEGAL!!! Also, they're wasting their time, money, and energy in the long run by missing out on the benefits of being legal, so there's no excuse for them not to be legal.

Our way of thinking isn't about government, or money, its about basic human rights, which isn't flawed at all.. Human Rights outway everything else, you can't just ignore them, and you can't just deny people their rights... These rights stated in the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights, and apply to everyone, of every nationality
Here are some examples:

Artical 3
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.

Article 13.

(1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.

(2) Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.

Article 14.

(1) Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution.

Article 23.

(1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.

(2) Everyone, without any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal work.

(3) Everyone who works has the right to just and favourable remuneration ensuring for himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity, and supplemented, if necessary, by other means of social protection.

(4) Everyone has the right to form and to join trade unions for the protection of his interests.

There are many others, but these are the most relevant
(I've underlined the one that really matters in this discussion)

Do you honestly think rule-breakers deserve these so-called "rights"? Those should be labeled as privileges for those who follow the rules. Those who commit crimes are due to be punished, whether the severity of their actions was lesser or greater.

On illegal emigration, think about it, would you allow some stranger to live in your house just because he like what you had and didn't have himself? I most certainly wouldn't. I let nobody leech off my own work or effort.

Yes I think so 100%. Every human being is entitled to these rights, no exceptions, no "inverted commas", they're rights.
Also it's not because they like what we have, it's because they're living in poverty, and are trying to provide for their families and themselves, because they dont have many other options... and their making a pretty honest living, it's not like their sleeping on your couch, they earn their money, they don't leech at all, quite the opposite, as it's been stated a few times already by a couple people in this thread, they work a hell of alot harder than the average American.

Thanks Snake91 for posting that

Gold XF you just don't get it, people have the BASIC HUMAN RIGHT to enter this country and seek employment ,they have the BASIC HUMAN RIGHT to a better life than what they had.

Just because you do not like it does not mean that they do not have any rights here.

And no, you are wrong about your liberal/conservative view. I am neither liberal or conservative, and if you say "if I am not a conservative I am a liberal" or some form of that you are just now talking out of your ass. I just see want to see Equality while you want to guard yourself, and not even seek the truth. No one is really losing their jobs to Illegals, you certainly aren't. No one is losing anything from Illegals. If you lose your job, its because you didn't work hard enough for the pay you earned.

I don't give a crap about what "basic human rights" you think they have. If they wish to come to the United States, they better do so legally. No questions asked, they followed the rules, good for them. The illegals just shouldn't fucking be here, get it through your thick skulls, illegal means ILLEGAL, no exceptions.

Also, to anybody who brings up the "stealing to feed their family" argument, why couldn't they ask around for some food before resorting to stealing? More often than not, there are other options than stealing.

One more thing I want to say, is that most of you guys don't know what it's like to live around all the illegals. You're off in some other place, so you don't see the effect they have on your societies and what not. I am living in America's ass, the worst affected place by these guys, and quite honestly, I'm sick and tired of seeing them. They don't just come here to work, they fuck up our politics, refuse to learn our language, bring this asshole-ish pride with them, and it certainly shows in their attitude. Take note that this is not ALL Latinos in California I'm describing, just the vast majority of them (or at least the ones I see, which is a LOT of them). I'm friends with Latinos IRL, and some of them think nearly exactly, if not harsher than I do about this subject. I hear states like Texas that border Mexico have the same problem, just not nearly as badly. For some reason unknown to me, these illegals love to come to the most expensive fackeen part of the country. You kind of need to see this stuff for yourself to get a better understanding of what I'm describing, so try not to take any personal offense to any of this.

I live in kansas, we have just about as many illegals as anywhere. But
do you know how expensive it is to get a green card?
do you know how debilitating it is to get a green card?
Yes they are illegal, but you are just judging them based on appearance, and tbh you are sounding a bit racist.

If by appearance you mean actions and firsthand experience dealing with them, then yes, and if that makes me sound a bit racist, then so be it. Racism is a natural thing, believe it or not.

No kidding gee I wonder why? Maybe its because we are programmed to feel different about people who do not look like us.

So your the only person who has first hand experience dealing with them?
Your the only person in the entire united states that have dealt with the illegals?
right?
Thats what I am hearing you say.
Since I live in Kansas I have NEVER dealt with illegals before. Stop being so self-righteous. these people are trying to find a better home, your not losing anything, no one is really losing anything so stop being so hateful.

You kind of need to see this stuff for yourself to get a better understanding of what I'm describing, so try not to take any personal offense to any of this.

wow, you're even more ignorant that I thought... just wow, you do realise that all your laws are based on Human Rights don't you? Oh wait, are you actually implying that you don't believe in Human Rights? Have you even heard of ethics before?

Maybe you should try to "get it through your thick skull" that you're opinion may not be 100% correct. Seriously, you come across as if you think you are so much more intellegent than the rest of us, and I'm pretty sure that's what you really think.
Well from what you've said, I'd guess you were nothing more than someone who has heard one side of the story and automatically thinks its right without even attempting to hear another side (don't even try to use this thread as evidence as otherwise because it's obvious you made this thread in a completely condiscending manner), or sympothise for the people that you want to exile from your country by making generalisations based on a couple personal experience, well lemme break it to you, not every illegal worker is the same, not every American is the same, not every Democrate is the same, and I hope so much that not every Republican is the same as you.

Newsflash, America isn't the only place which has foreigners coming in to find work. Ireland has such a large Polish community that there is a Polish newspaper in Dublin, how amazing is that? We can accept these people, and their language into our culture, and we let them take jobs because they have the right to it, the same as every Irish citizen, the same as every Spanish, or French, or German or Russian or South African, or anybody who comes into Ireland, not because our laws work differently than yours, or your almighty country knows better, it's because it's the Right and decent thing to do!

Also stop making generalisations about others, especially democrates, since you're representing all of the Republicans by what you say here, and I have to say, that after all the bullshit you type out here, and the complete jackass that you're making of yourself, that I really, really, really hope that not all other republicans are as single minded as you, because if that's so, if McCain gets elected, it will fuck up America, and therefore fuck up the whole world.

But ofcourse, I have common sense and know that not all Republicans are like you.

Actually no... Not it isn't. I just realised why you go on about this the way you do... You're just xenophobic.

I don't necessarily believe I'm any smarter than anybody on this forum, I just wholeheartedly disagree with what you guys think. During the early campaigning, I actually thought Obama was pretty cool and all, and might be kind of cool to have as a president. This was when I didn't really give a damn about politics, and then I began looking into this stuff more. I don't support Obama because his plans don't make sense to me, and they don't benefit me, whereas McCain's plans do.

Also, I know America isn't the only place where immigrants come to find work, but I'm really not concerned about the other places because they don't affect me enough to the point where I would actually have to care. Let me ask you a question, because you seem like you mean well: Do the people who come to your country to work come there LEGALLY or not?

I know that not all Democrats are the same, some (a lot) just don't think things through enough, and go for what's popular because they aren't raised to know any better, which is really sad. I don't see how you view me representing the Republican party, they're a lot more forgiving than I am. An example would be McCain's views on the illegal immigrants in our country: he thinks we should just let them stay here for 14 years and have them legalized, and then everything's good. I, of course, don't necessarily agree with that. Also, I don't mind if you think I'm a douche bag, you're free to think what you want, even if it isn't necessarily "right" or "correct". It's difficult to put up with people who have completely different value than you, I understand, but just to let you know, I don't hate people who I disagree with on this thread, as they have their values, and I have mine.

And just FYI, racism was proven to be a natural reaction by some university that I don't remember right now. Just because something is natural doesn't necessarily mean it's alright either, though.

Actually, I think the people in this thread have been a lot more respectful of you then you have towards us. This whole thread has, and it's intentions have been riddled with disrespect. For example, calling anyone who's a democrat stupid. Honestly, how can you not say that's disrespectful? Talking about waving all rights of illegal immigrants. That's also disrespectful towards myself and probably many more people in this forum as my mother's side came over from Germany illegally to escape... I dunno, everything that was going wrong in WWII Germany! So I've had enough. Sit back and think about what you're writing long and hard before you start insulting other people.

I do agree what people are saying. In short, just read what you right and think if your post will insult anybody before you submit it.

Honestly, I think you're (and most people who came to this thread are) one of those people who reads only what they want to to argue with somebody. Like I said, I DO think about what I'm writing, all the time, srsly. Now, emigrating illegally due to WWII is a completely different story than what I have been describing, which brings me back to the point of you're one of those guys who reads selectively. In case you somehow weren't able to comprehend the fact that he have a huge ass problem with illegal emigration here in the U.S. (most notably California), let me state that for you now. If it were maybe 1 out of every 100 or so people here in the U.S., then I certainly wouldn't care as much, but these guys are turning into a significant portion of our population, and that pisses me off. I don't want to be living in a place where rule breakers are the majority population if you didn't catch that already, so I could care less about what consequences they must suffer for their crimes.
