but be in mind that firefox has an intelligent 'memory hungry'. it will free more memory to other programs if it is needed until it archives it basic memory consumption.

download mIRC or chatzilla and install either one

then click this link irc://irc.quakenet.org/thegameheroes


then select whichever program you downloaded on the list that comes up. its 1 2 3 easy as a b c!


if you're using IE it might not work, i'm not sure. But i know its that easy with firefox.

if you are going to use mibbit all you do is select Quakenet from the server drop down menu and just type in "Thegameheroes" in the channel text box

Dude, we need more people to attend chat. I'm literally the only active person there. I'm talking to myself for shits sakes.

I've been fairly busy lately and a few regulars seem to have stopped showing up for some reason. It would be nice if more people stopped in to check it out. The problem that seems to be happening currently is there aren't enough people from all over the world, so someone from Europe will drop in and be annoyed that no one is talking when everyone is not there or sleeping. So, it'd be good to get more traffic from all over so that people can come in at any time and find a conversation.

A lot of people seem to be confused about how exactly to get to the room, but it really is simple. It's arguably more simple than instructing someone how to use an IM client like AIM. The first post of the thread outlines a method to connect through a website called mibbit, I would strongly suggest that. If you have chatzilla installed (which is very easy to find) you can simply click the link in the first post, which is even simpler. If you're still confused about how to get in, send me a PM and I'll help you out.

You can also PM me if you have any suggestions for the channel, or you can post it in this thread. The only way it can grow or become what people want is if they speak up.

Someone should make a quick step by step film and post it because I think it is just that people aren't familiar with firefox.
