Fan translation is almost done.

http://mother3.fobby.net/

just thought id let anyone whos interested in the idea of playing it to drop their email to get a notification when its done. From what I read, it could be done anytime in the next month or two.

So yeah, discuss.

Mother 3 is one of best games ever. I'm highly anticipating the translation.

Looking forward to this I'm glad they went through the whole thing. I tried playing it in Japanese via ROM when it first came out. Couldn't get through much of the game without knowing what I was doing. I'm uber excited I can't wait! :-D

I played it through with a translation guide, actually. It's a very good guide.

/facepalm self

I didn't realize there was a topic about the Mother series. Maybe what I posted in my "Earthbound" topic would be better suited to this one.

You may have noticed that over Labor Day weekend the folks at thespeedgamers.com did an Earthbound/Mother marathon to raise awareness of the requests to re-release Earthbound (and the rest of the Mother series) in the United States. If not, well, you've just read about it.

On a different note, I imagine most of you will probably recognize this guy: http://starmen.net/vote/vote.php?id=10269

...woah. I cant believe I didnt catch that before. I knew he mentioned how he liked Earthbound, but I never noticed he nicknamed himself to a cohort of Smilin Sam.
