Well, as far as Vickie goes, I can't exactly fault her for being in this storyline. She's doing what she has to in order to provide for her family, even if it involves sloppy makeouts with Edge, and I think Eddie could understand that; remember when he was supposedly shacking up with Chyna? This is
hopefully something similar. Besides, we all know someone will interrupt the damn thing anyway, and I seriously hope it's Kane, just for the lulz. As for Edge, I think if he could make a turn to face, he would, but he's unfortunately locked himself into the role of heel because of the "Rated R Superstar" persona. It's almost like how Cena could easily turn heel (considering the fans either love him or loathe him, often in the same bloody arena), but he's made himself into a superface (and then they'd lose merchandise sales), so it could never happen...or they'd have to do it perfectly.

With DiBiase as one of his trainers he's sure to be good but the limitations put in place by the WWE restricts his movelist significantly. Also it's worth noting that you're only as strong as your weakest link; if you're a great wrestler working with a sub-standard worker it's bound to look like crap unless you bring it down to his level.
Yeah, that's something that annoys me about the WWE now. They ban a bunch of moves and every match feels the same anyway, so it might hurt him in the long run. I guess feds like ROH and TNA don't have those restrictions (gotta do something towards a certain camera all the time, etc), but the WWE has always been more "sports entertainment"-focused than wrestling-focused...which hurts them because they're not even entertaining anymore.
