Any Tribes vets out there?

Tribes, the sweet ass fps, was made by Dynamix. You had a jetpack, a disc launcher, a chaingun, and tons of other guns you could buy at an inventory station. There seemed to be two groups of people in regards to tribes. Those who thought the game was amazing and innovative, or those who couldn't handle it and played quake instead (that's right...pansies). Any vets out there that know what I'm talkin about? Hell, my dad is still playing it to this day. I got him hopelessly addicted!

Yea, I played Tribes and Tribes 2. Pretty bad ass game, especially Tribes 2 in which you got vehicles

Wasn't there a construction mode kinda like Garry's Mod for Tribe 2??? I seem to remember logging quite a few hours into that mofo.

I'm pretty sure Tribes was like....the first FPS to have regenerative health. I can't remember, it's been a long time.

It was all about killing people and taking their repair kits! That and the repair pack where you had the little red ghostbuster healing beam. I tell you, thinking about this game makes me want to reload it on my pc. Pure classic fps.

That game was the coolest, if they ever port that or re-release it..ooooo. The mods in that game were the best too. Maaaaan I havent played that game in years!

I always played with the name Djarunen, and I played Renegades and Base. I can still catch my dad playing it after all these years, and he still doesn't know how to strafe! Freaking hilarious. I guess they finally brought down the master server, but some clans bought it and put it back up. This is definitely a hardcore game. I feel like being nostolgic and pulling out my voodoo card for authenticity.

Tribes is amazing. I was <NBK>Mullet69 if i remember correctly. It is definitely my first fond memory of playing online with friends competetively. Cameraman Joe and I had a clan and we wrecked shop. Actually, I think he wrecked shop and I moderately damaged the shop as best i could.
