Who do you like more?

none of the above...each have their own stories to tell and i find myself pretty much buying all of their main titles

tbh I find 2000 A.D. and Todd MacFarlane books more compelling.

Marvel totally I just like more of the characters and the universe

Even though DC has Batman, that is the only character I really like at DC, who else do you have? Superman {boring} Aquaman {lame} Green Arrow {seriously} and Green Latern {what is with all the green?} Just overall not interesting characters. While at Marvel you have a huge array of interesting characters.

Some of those are Vertigo. DC owns Vertigo, but I count Vertigo books as their own thing.

then you can't count the Max, Ultimate, Mangaverse, etc etc all 9billion different lines except the front line

growing up with Batman,i've always been a hardcore DC fan
i pretty much love every hero or villain involved in the Batman universe (Nightwing,Robin,Azrael,Huntress,Hush,Red Hood...)
i also like Green Lantern Kyle Rayner...or Ion like he calls himself atm

The only publisher up there that really has a set of characters that I really love is Marvel. While I love books from all the publishers there ... some aren't unique titles or they're mini series, or they just published them from overseas. If I didn't pick Marvel, I would pick Dark Horse.

Read all but Mister E, Dr. Fate and The Books of magic. But the rest are good. Just not as epic as marvel, not enough history and lore.

Marvel is super awesome but I am a huge Batman fan so that is the only thing from DC I like. That and a lil of the ol Green Lantern.

They constantly retcon the stories that there is no history or lore.

jean grey has died twice....
magneto twice iirc
wolverine once...turned out to be skrull ne way. cyclops once
captain america once...and is still dead

Magneto has at least died 5 times, not counting the alternate universes
Jean Grey has been killed numerous times as has wolverine (Though Jean Grey usually died as the Phoenix)
Captain America "died" and retconned into existance by the way they found him in the iceberg.

jean grey has died TWICE. she killed herself when the phoenix entity took over only to be retconned that she was safely in a cocoon the entire time of the dark phoenix saga when the avengers found her. The second time she died was through grant morrison's run by magneto or by xorn or whoever cuz that got retconned like crazy.

Wolverine has never been dead per se with the exception of the twelve storyline when he was thought to be a horseman for the apocalypse. and that turned out to be a skrull but gave wolverine his adamantium back. Wolverine has an amazing healing factor and on top of that Marvel as a company would never allow wolverine to stay dead.

Captain America was retconned into the marvel universe. they never ever officially had the story where he was blown off a rocket until the avengers storyline. listed as MIA as they never recovered the body. and he's dead now as a direct aftermath of Civil War when he was assassinated.

Magneto himself has had doppelgangers running around with his name all over the place.

I'm a Marvel guy. It's pretty much all I read.

I do enjoy BatMan though, I even picked up the re-release of "The Killing Joke" a couple weeks ago.
