I just found this in my box of software. I remember playing this online with a free 18.8k connection on my IBM Aptiva in junior high. I am definitely feeling the nostolgia of it after seeing it in the Gametrailers retrospective. I will be creating my StormTrooper named Duriin with an orange lightsaber in no time. Anyone else ever get into this one?

Storm Trooper with a lightsabre? Oh the emperor would be rolling in his grave if he wasn't thrown down a huge chasm and subsequently vaborised when the Death Star blew up

And then resurrected according to the part of the Expanded Universe that I don't care a squat about....

Jedi Knight is quite a cool game.. For being so old, but I prefer Academy.

I myself also prefer Jedi Academy. But the Dark Forces are all worth going through once.

Bought it when it came out and I still love it; the best in the series IMO.

I used to play it with around six buddies... those were the days :-)

Man, that game takes me back. I still vividly remember the live action cut scenes. They were so awesome at the time because up until that point, no one had ever seen any new Star Wars live action scenes since Return of the Jedi.

It's sequel Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was even more icing on the cake...I played the hell out of the multiplayer on that one.

yea, this was a cool game, though to be honest I never really got too into it, I beat it once and that was it, It came with the jedi knight 2 jedi outcast collectors edition so I beat dark forces and jedi knight before moving onto jedi outcast, which I played the hell out of and played a shit ton of multiplayer on - jedi outcast IMO is the better game but the whole series is good.

I played the first one on an old school mac when I was like 14 or something, I didn't really like it, but my friend whose mac I was playing on was obsessed. Back then I was more about Wolfenstein, DOOM and Duke Nukem.

yeah, bought this game on impulse and never regretted it.

Ah man, the honorably dual fights, those we're great. Later some players stared using the multiplayer to create rollplaying online, I never really got into it. Did anyone here?

I also recalled the most craziest cheats I ever seen was in this game. Like one time me and guy was fighting one the catwalk (anyone remember this level?), suddenly he ran to one far end and turned around and fired the Moldy Crow at me, literally! I couldn't believe my eyes until it hit me with gigantic explosion.

I have to admit I have not played any of the Jedi games after Jedi Knight, but I am going to try and pick them up sometime soon. I use to work at Wal-Mart in highschool, and I would sit in electronics just looking at Academy...wishing I had a pc that could handle it...

Jedi Knight is classic. The live actor clips ruled.
I also remember how the Boc boss character would jump around the whole area during Kyle's fight against him. Still don't know what that was about.

I loved the first Dark Forces, as well as Jedi Knight and Academy. I'm picking up Jedi Knight 2 and Academy for xbox really soon.
