That Guy with the Glasses

Personally I love the decision for bringing this guy to the site. What do you guys think of him so far?
His latest was the Top 11 Drug PSA's. Why Top 11? Because he likes to go one step beyond...

I was disappointed he didn't tackle any of the more current lame PSA's like the one where the guys run over the little girl on the tricycle because they were high. First of all, are we talking about drugs or drunk driving and second, why is there a little girl riding a tricycle in front of a fast food restuarant? Hell, I would have hit here even if I wasn't high...who would have expected that?

But then again, he is the "Nostalgia Critic" and there's nothing too nostalgic about something that came out a couple years ago.

I think Chapelle covered that one nicely on this show with the guys from Half-Baked. And like you said it is not really nostalgic.

I wanted to see the one with the kid chasing after the paper airplane that runs into the chest of an older kid who presents him with a joint and asks, 'Hey kid, do you really wanna fly?' well yeah, like superman dude. Where do I sign up?

Nostalgia Critic is good stuff. His video on 90's sports movies is hilarious. Great addition to The Game Heroes.

I've been a fan of TGWTG since the NC first videos came out, and I am extremely happy that he's joined TGH!!

I love that he is here but it sucks that his YouTube accounts were suspended. I enjoy watching all of his videos and I can't wait for more to come. Maybe he'll bring more traffic to the www.thegameheroes.com.

This must be fate, or something because I just discovered this guy 2 weeks ago, and I spend all of this past weekend watching everything on his site, and today I find out, he's the newest Game Hero! I love this!

he is very funny, and i love his videos, I hope there is an equal audience between TGH and That Guy with the glasses.

It will be way awesome!

i think its kind of funny that he is having a "War" with the AVGN. Also i remember seeing some of the 5 sec movie review didn't know who did it cause i was watching off of my friend computer.

I like the fact that they teamed up with him, but I think it's a little odd considering TGH is about gaming. :-o

i don't really care for it but i enjoy his style. he could touch base on games if he really wanted to you do know that right?

I didn't get the impression that he was joining TGH. It seemed to me like Tom was just doing an interview with him.

And for some reason it really bothers me that his name is written wrong...it should be "That Guy With The Glasses" on the main page right now it's listed wrong without the "The".

I think it's just an exception with TGWTG. That Guy hosts his own videos on his own site and profits from ad revenue on his site. GameJew, the only other guy who separately posts his videos off the Game Heroes sites, hosts his videos on youtube and is probably hoping for partner status like the Game Heroes. That's probably the only reason.

well that's the thing, I dont consider mushroom singdom to be a gameheroes feature either, I notice that gamejew links to his singdom songs on screwattack.com under the G1 posts, he just wants exposure and he gets it here, whereas thegameheroes really need exposure themselves, and I dont feel that links to videos that appear on multitudes of other places really helps that much.
