It's pretty fucking good, but it counts as a supreme taco so it comes with sour cream it really doesn't need.

Since I've been paying closer attention to what's in a lot of foods ... I wouldn't go withing 100 fucking yards of a Taco Bell in the United States.

Oh yeah. I don't even like the original Doritos, but I like the new flavors.



Yeah, I tend to never eat fast food for a variety of reasons, with what's in the foods as one of the many. I do enjoy the occasional Subway or (maybe once every few months) Sonic, but that's about it.

It's not really contained to just fast food. Traditional restaurants have practices that are just as bad.

I don't think I've had Taco Bell in... probably over 10 years. That shit is gross. I also don't eat much fast food at all. Maybe once every 3 or 4 months I'll go to A&W and that's about it.

The only "fast food" I might eat would be from very specific sandwich shops. I even avoid most all restaurants due to their lack of telling you what's in the food. (i.e. poor quality meat from poor vendors, Tyson, use of certain spices that are entirely unwarranted and largely bad for you, monosodium glutimate, putting meat product in random things like sour cream and barbecue sauce ... as well as using red meat that's mostly filler)

You even have to be careful at grocery stores, here. The shit is everywhere.

As someone who recently started working as a line cook, I can confirm this.

Well they announced the line up for the two week concert event here in Ottawa, Bluesfest. I typically get tickets for the whole event as it's usually awesome with great bands but this is far and away the worst lineup ever. Only good thing, some of my favorite Canadian bands from high school, I Mother Earth and Big Wreck (technically they're from Boston but the lead singer's Canadian) are back together and are playing so.... I'm going to have to go to those shows but that'll probably be it. Well Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden are playing too and that'll be the highlight of the festival. When you have Nickelback as one of the main acts you know it's gone downhill... well I saved $200.

So, I went on a limb to release a blog where I just tossed everything out there (unintentionally, but I just rolled with it anyways), you know. And, practically nobody gave a fuck. Bit of a blow ...

Taxes are done... god I hate doing taxes. Looks like I'm getting $55 back... would have been a lot more if I weren't an idiot and lost over half year's worth of expired bus passes. Could have lied about put down the total but knowing my luck the CRA would come knocking on my door for an audit.

Chuck Huber cancelled his appearance at AnimeNEXT. Bummer.

Having seen Alice Cooper, I can confirm for you that he puts on one hell of a show. Probably one of the most entertaining concerts I've ever been to.
