So I had originally decided to drop Detective Comics with the relaunch on how lacking Tony Daniel's run on Batman prior to the new 52 went. And then the guy puts out two great books luring me back in. I have high expectations for Snyder's book, but he tends to take his time to build up a good story, so right now Detective Comics is, surprisingly, my favorite of the Batbooks. Issue #2 was paced really well and is doing a great job at creating a new villain for Batman in the Dollmaker, and ends just as strongly as issue #1 did.

I'm just keeping my distance from Detective Comics. Daniel has burnt me too many times.

I second that so far it's my favorite Bat-title. I haven't like 2 Tony Daniel issues in a row ever, so that's a good sign.

After mentioning a while back that I started on Invincible, now I'm on issue 77.

Spoiler
Starting off by having Cecil and the Pentagon murdered. Holy crap.

I'll post my complete thoughts when I'm done catching up.

EDIT:
Spoiler
Whew, I only got trolled by Kirkman, thinking everyone got killed. XD

I just finished issue 86, and holy crap, I chose the worst time to get up to date.

Overall, I really like the series and it makes me interested in more Kirkman stuff. Now I really am curious to see how the two stories with Mark and Allen will end. Too bad I have to wait until issue 87 comes out. :ohnoes:

Nope. But he is temporarily broken up with his current girlfriend, but I suspect they'll be back together within the year.

Think I'll hop back to DC wikia and Marvel wikia one of these to catch up a few franchises.

(It's the only way ;_;)

30 minutes to an hour. We aim for a happy medium whenever we can. We also offer audio versions as much as possible, but have kind of slacked every now and then. I blame Beeslo or Mongo.

So we're now five months into the new 52 and I'm curious which books people are still reading? I ended dropping a few and now my list is

Spoiler
All-Star Western
Animal Man
Aquaman
Batman
Detective Comics
Batman & Robin
Batgirl
Batwoman
Nightwing
Blue Beetle
Catwoman
DC Universe Presents
Flash
Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E.
Green Lantern
Green Lantern Corps
Green Lantern New Guardians
Justice League
Justice League International
Stormwatch
Suicide Squad
Supergirl
Swamp Thing
Teen Titans
Voodoo
Wonder Woman

I've stopped buying Red Lanterns, Deathstroke and Red Hood and the Outlaws but I was considering getting them digitally from now on. I'm ultimately going to drop Deathstroke beause of Liefeld so I may just save myself the money on the issues I'm missing.

Also is anyone else reading Severed? Its a great horror book that Scott Snyder is working on over at Image and has quickly become my favorite Indy book these days.

I picked up the first three Ace Attorney manga's at Midtown Comics in NYC. I'm loving it so far since I'm loving it so far since I'm such a big fan of the series.

I need the others cause Midtown only had the first 3. And I need the case files.

I read one of the Manga, it was mostly random bullshit side stories that were just like "hahaha funny" type comics. It was cool but not worth 10 bucks.

SO HOW ABOUT THAT BLUE BEETL-

Spoiler

I'm seriously thinking of giving DC the finger and never buying from them again because that's like the 53rd thing they've done in the past five years to drive me up a wall.

Thanks to YIBR, I'm going through a lot of X-Men and am really enjoying it (especially Claremont, with the Dark Phoenix Saga being the first thing I read by him). Right now I'm reading Age of X and am going to read God Loves, Man Kills right after that and then Days of Future Past (honestly, the cover sold me).

And I hate how Robert Kirkman leaves every issue of Invincible on a cliffhanger, then I have to wait 3 weeks to a month to see what happens. The only thing I found pointless right now is:

Spoiler
How they had Mark freeing Dinosaurus right when Allen is going to launch the scourge virus on Earth. This would have been a neat idea for later issues, but the whole scourge virus deal, it would unfairly shadow one or the other. But holy crap, I didn't see the ending coming with Mark getting the scourge virus. I really wonder how it's going to pan out.

Speaking of Xmen, I'm thinking about trying to jump back in but have no idea where to start. Suggestions?

Also - Spiderman.
