Nice to have you guys back.

Spider Island, really? The concept sounded a little goofy.
LOL, Nick drive-by hassling.

Favorite titlecard,. #71, most def.
Favorite webcomic.. #48, I believe.

Something was cut?? I will be expecting some YIBR 2011 outakes & bloopers reel then!
The new stuff sounds good, looking forward to it. COMICBOOK?? Holy shit YES.
About format schedule.. I don't know, just keep mixing it up I guess.

My picks for 2011

Best Book
Scott Snyder's run on Detective comics. His Batman is amazing, but its best book was this month's so it doesn't count.
Runners up: the new Justice League, Mark Waid's Daredevil, Kevin Eastman's TMNT revival

Worst Book
Kick-Ass 2. Not only was it dissapointing but the senseless rape scene was my last straw with Millar. He's now on the list of writers I won't read anything from anymore.
Runners up: New 52 Green Arrow, New 52 Hawk and Dove, New 52 Superman and Action Comics.

Biggest Surprise
The return of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kevin Eastman has been kicking serious ass with these books and I love the tweeks he's made to the mythos.
Runner Up: Animal Man.

Best Indy Book
Severed. I'm going to go as far as saying its probably the best book Image is putting out these days.

Best Writer
Scott Snyder. Not a hard choice to make either. Detective Comics, Batman, Swamp Thing and Severed have all been excellent. In just 5 issues of Batman he's already written some of the best issues invloving the character in the past 10 years! The last Batman writer that was this good was Greg Rucka, and something tells me when he's done, Snyder's run will be the better of the two.
Runners Up: Mark Waid, Geoff Johns, Kevin Eastman.

Best Art
Jim Lee. This one is a hard choice for me and has quite a few runners up, but the fact that Jim Lee is back, working on an ongoing title is great. The fact that the book is Justice League is fan-fucking-tastic!
Runners Up: Greg Capullo, Paolo Rivera, Ivan Reis, Travel Foreman, Yanick Paquette, Cliff Chiang

As far as 2012 goes I will say I'm looking forward to see how well the new 52 holds up. I can't say I love all of the changes or that I liked every book I picked up, but there's a lot going for it. The Swamp Thing/Animal Man crossover looks to be cool. I'm loving Justice League and Aquaman. But the big one is the plans for Batman. Snyder seems to be taking the reigns this year with his Court of Owls story and the newly announced back-up stories to appear in the other books. On Marvel's side I can honestly say Daredevil has been their best book each month and I hope Waid says on for a long time with Paolo Rivera doing the art. Punisher and Amazing Spider-man have been pretty good as well.

The things I'm not looking forward to are Rob Liefeld writing Grifter, Deathstroke and Hawkman. I was kind of liking Grifter and I was going to switch to getting Deathstroke digitally but now I might as well prepare to drop both. Another huge let down is they're cancelling Moon Knight AGAIN! Seriously wtf Marvel?! In the past six years he's had three different series. How hard is it to write "a crazy version of Batman"? I was annoyed how Bendis ignored the previous two series, but I was growing to like his take on Marc Spectre and his spilt personalities. And now just as it's getting good, they're going to scrap it. If they announce a new series I'm not even going to pick it up, that's how frustrated this news made me. As for Avengers vs X-Men my feelings are meh. Right now it's sounding a lot like Civil War, which I actually hated. The only plus it may have is that the sides don't seems as arbitrary.

Aw man. Those scripts I'm supposed to write for the swap. I think we started talking about it back in April. Almost done now though. Haha

Really enjoyed hearing you guys talking about the title cards and strips. You guys crack me up.
Can't believe we've released 83 comics (88 with the JMS arch) since we started early last year.
It's been a great learning process. I mean the first YIBR strip I drew was (I think) the third of forth comic strip I ever drew. Basic composition stuff like making good use of the space in every panel was virtually non existent from the beginning. It's pretty noticeable in the earlier strips. And that's just one part of the process that I've had to learn from sketch or refine several times. And I still have ways to go.

Thanks for all the submissions.
Darkseid
Sheep Cannon
Kaiserhawk
The Red Clover
Magus None
And especially Koari for starting it all.

This is what happens when you charge an extra dollar for a character book about a character most people don't give a shit about. Seriously, Daredevil & Punisher aren't 3.99, what the fuck makes Moon Knight so special?
