Uncharted is really the only Vita game I'm remotely interested in at the moment.

I'd say Uncharted but I really have no intention on picking up a Vita. My PSP and my girlfriend's DS already collect enough dust.

Uncharted of course. But I'm not paying the planned prices for Vita yet. Too many extra expenses for a device that obviously is going to be re-designed relatively quickly.

Japanese retailers are already cutting the cost for the 3G version by 20% so.... yeah the price will drop soon enough too (minus the extra expenses which can blow me).

Well $250 USD isn't that bad ... it's the mandatory not included memory card and miserable battery life which will have an official solution this same year that gets me. All aftermarket stuff.

$20 for a 4gig card isn't that bad. 5 hour battery life is still better than the 3DS and most smart phones. I do hope some third party companies step up and release some better/cheaper accessories.

The battery life isn't 5 hours, that's best case scenario. That's if you just have the device on or are watching a movie or something. Game playing time is more like 3 hours, if that.

The 3DS' battery life isn't that bad. (Mine has never died on me, actually) My PSP needs explicit recharges more often. My 3DS has been in streetpass mode for over three days now ... it's only half dead (and that was after playing games) ... my PSP, nor my phone, have that sort of longevity.

The point is ... you're not going to be spending $250 if you pick one up ... you have to spend ... HAVE to spend ... at least $270, not including software, or an inevitable battery replacement.

But we still haven't seen how large some of these games are ... it could very well be that 4GB is simply not a realistic amount of usable space as a storage solution.

When a handheld starts costing in the realm of a console due to add ons that are pretty necessary ... that's when I don't even think about adopting it until it gets a price drop.

I think Sony is trying to copy the phone market too much with their Vita pricing schemes ... and I don't know if it's a very good idea. And God forbid if you want the 3G model.

Multiple pricing tiers are an easy way to scam consumers out of more money, generally; that practice seems to be in full swing still with Vita.

I'm always a sucker for new consoles, especially new portables. I reserved my after E3 on Amazon. I couldn't imagine spending a crapton in sales tax like some people will at Gamestops when those midnight launches hit. I got Hot Shots Golf and Uncharted reserved. Figured I'd have a big game to play and then a simple game to fall back on when I take breaks from Uncharted. I only wished I reserved Uncharted earlier on Amazon so I didn't have to shell out $50 for it. I was going to get a 16 GB card but the $60 might make it a dealbreaker. Guess it all depends on how much I have at the time. =/

And yes, I'm way aware in a few months most of this crap will probably be way cheaper. No need to lecture me over stuff I already know.

The only launch game I'm interested in is Uncharted. Other than that, Persona 4 sounds really good, though it's coming out later down the line.

I seriously hope they do that thing with the PS3, where they released Vita games for it like they did with the PSP and PS2. Though I'm sure it won't be as mindblowing as Naughty Dog's games, I still want to rent it because it's Uncharted.

Motorstorm RC and Dragon's Crown are suppose to be playable on both the PS3 and the Vita. Some games are going to be doing some cloud gaming stuff like Warriro's Lair where you can beat a level or too on your vita and your progress will carry over to the PS3 and you can play back and forth.

I tried out the Vita at my local Gamestop last week and it wasn't bad. Surprisingly, it was really light and had a nice interface to it. I tried out Uncharted and despite not being any fighting, it plays a lot like Uncharted 1 as opposed to 2. I had fun, though some things like having to flick your fingers around to cut through sheets with a sword felt a bit forced. It's not bad, but I'm probably not going to bother buying one (that and I have no interest in buying any consoles for quite a while).

I also noticed a few other games on display and Ninja Gaiden Sigma was there as well, which is pretty neat.

I'm just waiting for MGS HD and SFxTK.

The PSP was great little machine which I still get use out of, so I'll definitely pick up a Vita.
