I'd love to hear your thoughts. Glad it's back? Hate it? Hate Mortal Kombat? Compulsive DLC addict? Let me know.

Sums up what I thought about it. It was a pretty good deal hopefully you add things like pre-order bonuses and have two purchases: a worthy and unworthy purchase.

Nicely done. I didn't get any of the MK dlc, mostly because the characters didn't interest me too much, except for maybe Kenshi. It's good to see that the season pass idea is beginning to catch on, even Activision is doing it with MW3 and the Elite subscription. I like it.

Also, this is your theme song.

I actually like the Season Pass idea and could actually see it being a really good deal in some cases.

If something like Fallout or Borderlands offered it I would be all over it because I know I spent a ton on DLC for those games (and they offered the feeling of a real expansion rather than something already on the disc or removed from the game)

My computer got bricked for a bit thanks to a wonderful virus. I had to roll with Ubuntu until I got a replacement disc. Long story short, I can do images again. The next Swift Justice should be up soon. Here's a bit of a teaser:

The article will be about the console itself. I thought Super Mario 3D Land would be the most appropriate title to showcase.

Hey, guys. The new one is finished. I've shot a message to TGH and Mickey, but no response. Maybe they're busy. If you want to see this up, maybe shoot them a message and ask for that SJ goodness.

Well I think it is pretty clear that Nintendo rushed the 3DS to market. They thought the new tech and the Nintendo brand name alone would be able to sell it. The asking price was too high, the tech wasn't quite perfected, and the quality software wasn't there to back the system up.

Lowering the price point to something more reasonable was a smart move and I expect a lot more parents will be picking it up for their kids this xmas. Also the 20 free games, not to mention free Zelda and Excitebike releases really feel like good way to give back to early adopters. Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 give the software lineup a real boost after a string of ports, remakes, and shovelware.

Overall a rough launch but they seem to be finding their footing. The real question is what does Nintendo have in store for the 3DS in 2012 besides Kid Icarus? With the Vita launch coming up with a pretty nice list of games shaping up, what is Nintendo's next move?

I'm sorry that there has been a complete lack of anything in this category lately. I've been ridiculously busy with this semester, life with my lady, etc. I'm down but not out. Thanks for understanding.
