Me, Dreamwalker and Beeslo wanted to do something special for Link and Yoko to celebrate their marriage. So we made a 5 part story arch based on a certain story listeners of the YIBR podcast might be familiar with. It's called "Mr. Straczynski, give me a treat..."

Yeah, unfortunately Facebook likes to ad a grain to all its pictures. But I didn't want to drag this story arch out over two and a half weeks, or flood the TGH main page with our in-joke stuff. And I figured we might as well promote the Facebook page a bit.

As I mentioned the whole thing will go up as one huge strip on sunday right here on TGH in full quality.

Seems more like a parody of a Christmas special than it is a Halloween special, but I'm not sure if that's the least bit relevant to what you're going for.

I get where you're coming from. The idea behind the rhymes was to have a kind of Dr. Seuss vibe in the comic. A person who's work is most commonly associated with x-mas. It being halloween is just a happy coincidence. Like Beeslo said, we're going more with a creepy children's book thing.

Uh... Apparently I somehow wrote the wrong title of the comic (even though I had it written down). I would blame the three hours of sleep I had the night before but that wouldn't explain how I did the mistake twice. Anyway... The real title's supposed to be "Mr. Straczynski, bring me a dream..."

Beeslo and I actually started a huge 18 panel strip (page) sometime back in march/april. I got so far as having finished a couple of panels. But I didn't like what I had done with it, and it was taking allot of time from the regular comic so I scrapped it. Then Beeslo approached me again back in July/August about what had happened to it, and we decided to go at it again but with a different approach. Much happier with this.

JMS looks so devilishly smug, I love it.
