What's with the no-ing? The game looks great. I hope Rockstar takes a queue from Red Dead and LA Noire and keeps that combat system instead of the clunky mess GTA III through San Andreas were and the slightly less clunky mess GTA IV was.

Anyways, nice little teaser for the game. Not much was shown beyond the fact it's in San Andreas. I hope it's not like the San Andreas game as it was my least favorite of the PS2 GTA games. If they can find a nice middle ground between Vice City and GTAIV I will be very happy.

I don't really like GTA period but its popular for a reason. I do not find it a good game, but others obviously do. So I guess get over it because not liking this game will never make it go away.

I'll give them credit, this looks much more urban realistic than the other games. Like, stuff that's actually going with a crime setting, as opposed to crazy over the top shit. Not that the crazy over the top shit should be removed, but it's nice to see the series mature.

I was hoping for a return to Vice City, but this does look good and I will definitely be getting it.

I am wondering if this game will stick to just Los Santos this time or if San Fierra and Las Venturas will also return from GTA SA.

Grand Theft Auto 3 was classic, but somewhat overrated in my opinion.

Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas was the best GTA game in terms of it's open world gameplay.

Grand Theft Auto - Vice City was 100% Bad ass! I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the vibe right from the 80's!

Grand Theft Auto 4 sucked in my opinion. The characters were annoying and I found the controls to be awkward, the driving especially.

Haven't seen enough of this to decide if it's good or not but I've already made up my mind about any and all future GTA games. I love sandbox games, and aside from a bunch of mini games, the only thing left to do is hi-jack cars and terrorize prostitutes. It can be fun, but I stopped getting the enjoyment I should be getting from a sandbox game.

I'll remember this next time I make a thread about the next big fighting game then

I listened to it again ... you're right, I can hear it now. It's just Liota-esque, but the accent is wrong. It's almost like someone doing an impression of him.

Hoping that a return to the Los Santos region means a more 'fun' approach to the series rather than the seemingly realistic approach they took with GTA IV, being the main reason I can't stand GTA IV (And switched over to Saints Row 2 and soon 3) but at the same time, the setting alone looks incredible, they always make amazing environments and if it's set in multiple regions as San Andreas was, but on the current consoles, this game could be incredible, and we can always trust Rockstar to make a great story, as IGN did in their rewind theater, it looks like the theme they're going with is the recession and the hardship for most American's, although the main protagonist will probably be able to invest in some impressive properties as we saw in the trailer

And it's not Ray Liotta voicing the trailer, it might be Tommy Vicetti (And god I hope it is) as an older (must be late 50's given modern setting) and he could be a great returning character, but seemingly unlikely, it's probably a new character as all the games have

I really disliked GTA IV, but I'm genuinely excited for this.

Me too, I intensely disliked IV... for a myriad of reasons, but if I had to name just one it would be that damn cell phone. Although, I was almost overwhelmed by everything in the game because there is so much to do. After a while, I just got bored and never picked it up again. Maybe I will finish it one of these days...

I felt like Red Dead was the perfect mixture of open world vs. keeping you focused on the task at hand.
