The storylines have been convenient enough to connect together, they still have the 2 gaiden games and tactics to put them together whenever needed. Tierkries doesn't count...that fucker is just crazy as fuck.

they need to translate the 2 suikogaiden games.

Wait, hold on, wait is this multiverse thing that people keep talking about? I mean isn't Tierkres just another game set in an alternate universe/timeline, like the different Final Fantasy games, or is Tierkres somehow tied in with the main Suikoden series?

same elements, different universe...tierkreis is basically a spinoff.

It's just a different universe. There IS a chance they'd tie it all in with the main timeline, but that's really doubtful. Basically it's a "Final Fantasy" of the franchise, same with this upcoming game as well.
