Wii Games (lol)

I was in a discussion with a friend trying to figure out if ANYTHING was happening this year for Wii or if it was essentially a dead console until Wii U is out. For all sakes and purposes, it's pretty dead, but doing some research there seem to be a handful of interesting games coming out for it before it finally croaks.

Is there anything in particular you're looking forward to this year or hoping that it gets localized? There seem to be some slick jRPGs.

Eh....nothing really interests me enough for me to want to get it localized.

I don't really see anything new to get (except for Skyward Sword, but that's just because it peaked my interest), and I'm probably going to catch up on titles I didn't get or titles I've neglected here.

I just got my hands on a PS3 and I need some serious catching up to do game wise. I just bought Deus Ex Human Revolution and that would be the first game I have ever bought closest to it's release date. When I do get around to it I want to catch up on some Wii games too. Also, I missed you Link, how are you good sir?

Even if I had money to spend, there's nothing I want this year. I'd rather just save up what I can and get some older games I've been meaning to get (Little King's Story, Silent Hill 2-4, maybe a King of Fighters game, ect).

Because it's not the next console Kirby game I've been waiting for since Kirby 64. That's never going to be topped at this rate, which makes me sad in so many ways. :[

I don't know man, Kirby 64 was good but it kinda lacked in the Kirby department. I was a huge fan of Super Star and the Amazing Mirror though so this would be a nice throw back. Instead of mixing and matching just eating shit up...that's the pink fluff ball we all know and love. So I'm giving this a shot.

A classic throwback and the handheld games aren't how it's gonna happen.

POWER COMBINING AND A GOOD VILLAIN. THIS IS NOT A HARD CONCEPT.

Superstar Ultra was badass but only a close second for me.

I've been meaning to get Punch-Out!! for the longest time. I'm a huge fan of the series and beat the first two games, but never had the chance to buy this one. And when Skyward Sword comes out, I will vanish from the Internet and stop all of my life's commitments.

I've had my Wii for almost a year now and I only have 5 games: Wii Sports, New Super Mario Bros (both those games came with the Wii), Jeopardy, Epic Mickey and Metroid Prime Trilogy. There are more that I want but waiting for the prices to drop. Will pick up Mario Galaxy and Punch Out in the near future as they're FINALLY cheap.

New Kirby looks awesome and Skyward Sword has me interested but I really hope it does something different with the series. I feel like I've been playing the same game forever...

I guess I'm a rare type but I've played a lot out of my Wii the past 2 years, NMH2, Monster Hunter Tri and even Rune Factory Frontier, I think Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is more balanced than MVC3.

If you look at the right places I guess you find gems here and there. And those aren't even 1st party games.
