my first thoughts on this game were fuck this game, its just a glorified mini game and one that im not particularly all that good at.

then they said it would have a demo for revelations, well thats a little enticing, I would like to check out a demo for revelations, but not enough to plop down 40 dollars.

then I see this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_W0Q_QO6vw

damn you capcom! how did you know barry burton was my one weakness! :yuush:

so yea, I have this pre ordered now, anyone else picking this game up? looking for some people to team up with over wifi and kick some (not)zombie ass.

PS - dibs on barry

So did Capcom just forget that RE ever had zombies in their series or something?

supposedly revelations has zombies, or at the very least slow moving enemies again, but from the early impressions post I read over at IGN, the guy referred to zombies several times so there is still some hope.

It's in my gamefly q

Kind of just looking to have something new to play on the 3DS. I'm doubting this or Revelations will really restore my faith in the resident evil series.

I pretty much agree with this.

I don't see the point of revelations, they made a big stink about RE5 being the end of the whole umbrella story arc, but now they are going back and revelations takes place between 4 and 5, seems like kind of a strange decision when they supposedly ended it all and wrapped it up supposedly.

perhaps revelations will be what bridges the old story arc to the new one, it will introduce whatever ends up being the main threat in the games going forward, will just have to wait and see.

Mercenaries looks like a great game on the go, though I necessarily wouldn't pay $40 for it.

Speaking of which, my anticipation for RE: Revelations went from "screw this game" to "this might actually be good" after I saw the demo. I have some hopes for it, though I'll have to be impressed or blown away before I jump on the Resident Evil bandwagon again.

It's still a little sad that the RE game that I'm excited for the most among all of the new titles is a port of Code Veronica. I've been saying this for a while now, the only way Capcom can regain every single fan that swayed away from the series is if they make an RE game with only Barry and Jill and most of the dialog is Barry's corny humor. I would pay full price to play that.

this game has pretty awesome graphics and is a ton of fun to play, but my major gripe with it is that the control scheme is uncomfortable as all hell, having to constantly press the R shoulder button while pressing Y to shoot makes my hand cramp up something fierce, I really wish there was a way to make it so b shoots which would be infinitely more comfortable with my big hands.

ROFLMAO. Wow.

"Due to the one save file this game is just not available to be rented... ever. Sorry."

Much the other reasons I couldn't give 2 fucks about this game... y'know, aside from not owning a 3DS.

Oh yeah, the one save file that you cannot delete, what gives? Some people like to start their games over sometimes you know.

its a shame about the 1 save thing really turning people off to this game as it is REALLY fun and the perfect game to take on the go for quick short play sessions.

and the online co op plays really well and is fun as hell, would love to play with some of the folks here but sounds like that wont happen anytime soon lol.

Is this really just an extra mode stretched into a $40 game?

You can only have one save file? You got to be joking. Why would they do that?

This is my message to Capcom about that:

I just saw it on a commercial for Gamefly literally an hour ago.

It probably doesn't matter because it doesn't actually have a plot *shrug*
