I'm just wondering, are there any airsoft players out there? I still have my old aac-m4 2000, and gots an JG M4A1 cqb somewhere back home, I know how to gunsmith and added a red dot to my M4A1. The "Lazer" thread Olly made just made me wonder if there are any airsoft enthusiasts out there....

It beats the shit out of vidjagaymes IMO.

IMMA FARING MY ARSOFT

All I got is a cheap Gravity G.051. I don't use it for playing airsoft since I don't like shooting at people unless its for self defense or shooting at the annoying squirrels in my yard, but I mostly shoot at things like cups and cans for fun. But this thing sucks ass. The shots only got for like 12 feet and travel at an arc. I wanna drop like 40 bucks for an actual compressed air powered gun and get some actual firing power.

Depends on the firepower if you want shit that stings get one with atleast 380 fps. But shit hits the fan with 450-480fps any higher can be insanely illegal (in some states). If you want a cheap kind though go with JG, cheapest makers but....them guns can pack a punch.

I just use my shitty pistol I got from wal-mart to shoot cans... But I've seen the really hardcore stuff and it's pretty awesome.

My gun jammed a few times this morning. I think Galaxy makes cheap guns. I fired it and the cocking mechanism wouldn't lock in place, and when I pulled the trigger like five BBs fell out of the barrel.

Whoever is the sniper wears goggles so they can actually aim.

Goggles yes, but there's always a mask underneath it too. I have a neoprene mask under my goggles so even when I do get headshot it doesn't hurt. regardless of goggles sniping or not mask down always. When you play at 480 fps or higher that shit's dangerous without a mask.

I use neoprene since it's almost skin tight and you can still look down your scope.

Not always, My friend's pair is just goggles, never had a mask underneath. Besides, none of our guns come close to 480, except the sniper, but the person using it is the only one with goggles, everyone else has a full face mask.

Interesting, that seems safe enough. A tip for Sniper Rifles is that you gotta amp the fps up above 500, depending on the area it can go up to 1000 fps if needed. Get a BB that's relatively heavier around .30 or .35 grams, even though they knock the fps down it still gives you a straight trajectory. To play an awesome Sniper get a side arm, one with atleast 275 fps. I still suggest wearing atleast a balaclava to prevent future nose shots.
