-I've gotten the same vibe from Fear Itself, but perhaps even more negative. I'm probably going to drop Fear Itself as it stands right now, but I've already been passing on books with the Fear Itself headliner. Link made a comment in another thread how I've dropped Marvel, but really if they are going to get this lazy then I'm just going to pass until they step things up.

- Flashpoint is awesome. It may be a self contained story so for, but its just cool. I would reccomend Mongo to pick up Citizen Cold because it feels like a throwback to Geoff John's Wally West days and Link I think you might like the Gorilla Grodd book. The premiss is Grodd is pissed because no one cares he took over Africa and gets into fights to see if he can find a challenge good enough to kill him. Deathstroke and the Curse of the Ravager is a pretty cool pirate story that ties up a loose end from Flashpoint 2. Legion of Doom #1 started off pretty sweet with Heatwave story.

- I think the reason why they're taking a break from Batman Inc is more about the fact that Morrison has a bad track record of staying on time with books so having him just focus on Supes for now should reign him in more. Plus that news says to me Grant is only going to be on Action Comics for 10 to 12 issues tops.

Sheep, as you'll hear later in the show... Youth in Revolt is awesome especially if you liked Avengers Initiative or Young Allies, and Nick Spencer's take on Secret Avengers is awesome so far. Everything else is pretty much skippable, oh and Avengers Academy made sense and wasn't anything complicated.

lol, that's ok. The two ties weren't on the movie poster, so we were more complaining about the movie poster than your art.

Other than the Avengers books, I haven't touched Fear Itself. The Secret Avengers tie in was okay but so far the regular Avengers one has been fairly bad.

That's because those books are terrible to begin with. When are you guys gonna learn? :p

My Fear Itself recommended reading checklist is as follows:

- Youth in Revolt
- Avengers Academy
- Secret Avengers
- Fear Itself Homefront (if only for the Speedball story.)
- Thunderbolts

Fuck the main event book.

Never! :serious:

It's been okay, to this point. Maybe getting a new writer on it will shake things up.

Ahhhhh I totally missed this one! How'd that happen??? Oh well, I'm glad I found it now.

Thoughts as I listen:

- I'd be honored if this episode was actually 30 mins or less. YOU FAILED!!!

- You didn't butcher his name.

- Deathstroke had a monthly in the 90s. It ran for about five years. I mean, I had to look it up, it's not like I read it. I just thought I remembered it, so I decided to FAAAACT CHECK!

- I'm excited for techno-Superboy!!!

- SWITCH TO CHROME! It's so much faster and more efficient than Firefox.

Nick Marino with the YIBR Fact Check....I could of done it, but I just didn't. You did a fact check cause you remembered it, but I had never heard of it till now. I'll take that as a personal "Bitch, I'm callin you out!"
