I know multiple versions of the same character together in something seems to be the in thing (especially in comics) but that's still a really weird approach for Sonic.

Ok, in all seriousness, it seems like it might be a good idea. Question is whether you choose as one or the other and if either Sonic has certain advantages/disadvantages.

I don't see what the big deal is.

When you get down to it, there's almost no difference at all between old and new Sonic in both personality and what they can do. Having them run beside each other doesn't really blow me away.

Just bought the DLC upgrading my Sonic Adventure to the directors cut. Hate how it was 800ms points I think to begin with. Then it went to 400ms permanently just adding more missions and metal sonic to the mix.

The demo was really fun, especially the 3D level, which was extremely fast. My only gripe is that I didn't mind the homing attack in 2D Sonic, but now it's not there anymore. Nothing huge and I can't wait to see how the game turns out.

Well, I decided to divulge in my namesake's nostalgia and buy Sonic Generations and Sonic CD on XBLA. Literally, didn't know what to think after playing the Generations demo, so hope this is at least as enjoyable as Sonic Heroes (pretty damn decent, the last of it's kind for years now).

kind of surprised how good the sonic cd port is, despite knowing what i was in store for. i really hope somebody interviews the guy who created the engine for this sometime soon, i'm really curious about how the stuff like widescreen support and tails came about. definitely the best version of the game to date.

i hope it comes out on steam soon, though. i don't really use my xbox much these days.
