Felt kind of like a watered down Falling Down. But for an Uwe Boll movie it wasn't totally awful.

Puppet Master III

8/10,

By far one of the better movies in the series. It does a great job of fleshing out the franchise's back story and really developing Toulon as well as the puppets themselves. Definitely check this out if you've ever been interested in the franchise.

I would suggest watching it if you like horror in general
the fact that the fucking kid in this movie did this was fucked up in its own right,

Just got back from a promotional screening of Insidious. It almost feels like two movies. On the one hand, there's some really fantastic ideas put forth in the movie and some great delivery on it ... but on the other hand a lot of the character development really got hit hard as a result.

The flick starts out as a fairly standard haunting flick ... with blaringly loud 1940s style horror music. ... Then it takes this U Turn into new territory land giving actual COOL reasons for hauntings and building up some mythology. The parts that I liked, were the parts that dealt with this new take on various aspects ... the parts I didn't like, were the ones that stayed in the genre's footprints.

Overall ... it was an above average horror flick ... and a very above average haunting flick (name one that's actually great, and not more than 20 years old) but, in general it was just a little over average. So, I'd say about 6.5/10

It's not worth the price of admission, but it's definitely something you should see at some point in time. Regardless of the predictable plot and clichéd characters, there's more cool ideas in it and much better delivery than a M. Night Shamalamadingdong movie.
