So Destin is leaving Screwattack.

Seems like some folks didn't like him but I enjoyed his Hard News and other shenanigans he was involved in with Screwattack.

Makes me wonder if Hard News will continue and if it does, who will replace him? It just wouldn't be the same if someone else did Hard News but i'm interested to see what happens.

Good luck Destin, you will be missed.

But yeah...I didn't like him since day one. I thought he came off as a pompous douche and every time I saw those fat cheeks of his I wanted to falcon punch my nuts to divert my time and energy to someone more productive than listen to his screeching voice.

Sucks that he left but then again he has his reasons.

I never really thought he was a good pick to do Hard News. He also always seemed to have a stick up his ass.

i generally liked destin, thought he was a funny guy and enjoyed his shenanigans when I consistently still watched screwattack (dont go on it much now, just boring and over saturated in my opinion) so I wish him well and im sure he'll be missed, they can probably revamp hard news with either nick, chad, bryan or hell, even craig since he's done it before

first corey went, and now destin has chosen to leave, they were two of my favorites, funny that jose and ben are still there after all this time, haven't seen either of there stuff for ages.

oh, and i know this is an odd note, but anyone have any clue where the hell mickey is? haven't heard from him for bout 2 months now on here and the podcasts

It sucks bad for SA right now, but at least Destin and Corey left under peaceful circumstances. I'm sure they're already looking for new talent.

Oh, and I really like Destin. He was pretty funny in Hard News and I decided to have a contest that uses this fake meme made a few months ago called Destin Face in his honor and made a forum theme there of it. It keeps making me laugh like a retard.

I respect Destin because the entire time he was doing Hard News he knew that he had lots of haters and instead of bitching about it and changing his attitude he pretty much said fuck them and decided to roll with it and continue acting the way he wanted to, and I admire that.

I enjoyed Hard News. He wasn't afraid to call bullshit on something and most people that say "ooooh he's arrogant and pompous and has a stick up his ass" are just whiny ass fanboys who are too stupid to realize that he's not taking it too seriously and just having a bit of fun with it.

Whenever he would give his own two cent in on a story it was pretty much what I was thinking about the story to begin with and I'm sure a lot of people can agree that Destin said what was on all of our minds most of the time.

It would be cool to see him do collaborations with Screwattack or make an appearance every now and again.

I had mixed feeling about him, back when I still had feeling about the site in general.
When he first showed up I saw a lot of hate for him and I never understood it. I thought he was fine. As time went on though something about him just started to rub me the wrong way. Can't say I hated him, he didn't do anything so bad that I could go that far, but I definitly wasn't a fan.

I say congrats on his new job. Gotta go where things are better for ya.

Played Uncharted 2 with him once. Nice guy. Sucks to see him go.

This place was built mainly by bitterness for SA, so I can understand Link whipping out the admin-peen.

The last time I went to screwattack was in the summer since I was walking into town alot I would download there podcast it was alright but I honeslty just see them as like for kids now. They just really do not seem to care and I am not just saying that beause I come here but they really do seem to be somewhat not as interested and really starting to make it for kids.

I watched Hard News, but don't care about this news at all.. I enjoyed when he'd go on vacation and someone else would Host... basically the same show no matter what.

on the note of SA.... It might not be Taboo to bring it up here, but most of the people posting here seem to be apart of the Screw Attack community, which I'm sure they have a post about this on their forums.. So why bring it here.. people not in that community won't care, people in it, have a place to talk at their forums.

I honestly don't see your point, SA is a pretty popular site so it makes sense someone would make a topic about it, just like how so many people make TGWTG topics or other such thread types.

Plus, Finch, Link and I are the only active members who have posted here in this topic. So far it's been mainly TGH regulars.
