Only way to get better is keep trying..

Buddy of mine got a job doing Caricatures at 6 flags near Chicago.. he couldn't draw very well.. He got 20 complaint in one day his first week. His boss told him to stick with it. He did. Then, not only did he become the busiest artist at the park, but he also used that to create his style and now has a job as an artist and 3-d modeller at Twisted Pixel games.

Being giftet is overrated, with the possible exception of savants like Mozart. Practice is what really matters. The Beatles are a perfect example of this. When they went to Hamburg in the 60's they played 7 days a week for hours every night. During their two years there they played more live shows than most professional artists do in a life time. They got really freakin' good. And went on the help shape modern music as we know it.
