It’s also the first Pokemon game to prominently feature African American characters, with two African American gym leaders. One of those gym leaders, Iris, is Ash’s traveling companion in the anime. Iris wears a dashiki and when she first appears in the anime she’s swinging on a vine from the tree tops, and then Ash thinks she’s a Pokemon and tries to catch her. (The storyline of the games, by the way, revolves around Team Plasma trying to free Pokemon from human slavery.)

Cool story bro...lol seriously though I haven't played a Pokemon game since Silver/Gold on the Gameboy Color.

For some reason though I am willing to buy this game. Also Japan sure does have some rather "quirky" ways of presenting other ethnicities.

As for me I am all for pokemon slavery.

I swear to fucking Karnov, I hate the goddamn 'mind balls' more and more every day. What a load of racist $hit! These fuckers not only have zero ethnic sensitivity, but I swear they blacktually get WORSE the more time goes by since The Big One. I've decided I'm all for getting rid of our nukes, as long as we use the rest of them on japland all at once.

Funny thing is that a friend of mine had his honeymoon in Japan and he said that they asked him some strange rather racist questions. Still what do you expect from people who were microwaved. They're pissed off at the world and they will be as insensitive to foreigners as possible...while providing amazing technology that's now obsolete in that country to the world.

Pokemon really is awful for bringing out the same game. They do it worse than Call of Duty, because at least they do it once a year, I don't know what these guys are doing for like 3 or 4 years at a time, certainly not working on improving the games, up until now they still had the goddamn 8-bit crackly cries of every goddamn pokemon

And now the online is plagued with people who have illegal copies of rare pokemon you can only get in like certain events in Japan and America.

All of the new generation pokemon I've seen have been really lazily designed, some even with direct parallels from older generations.
