for 2011, I decided im throwing my hat into the reviewer ring, and right off the bat, my name kinda seems flat. Im asking you fine folks if you can help me brainstorm a name.

a couple ways I can take it is a rhyming name (like Daily Destin), based on my location (like Brooklyn Brawler) an add-on name (like 8-bit Mickey), or perhaps take on a new name altogether (like Cinema snob, etc.) finding a name will be tough, so im willing to ask any questions.

the show name...well, some people know about my idea, so im willing to state im wishing to do a show where I review a game, and it gains a score not out of 10, but out of +/-. the score will be put on a bar, and will be compared to others. Im thinking of calling it The Good and the Bad, but it seems flat. suggestions?

some quick names I thought about: Sharpster (like my tag, can be used for small segments like Sharpster Says)

the North Shore Nomad (because of my travelling habits and where im from. however, no kind of gaming reference.)

Name your show, not yourself.

Once you brand yourself, that's it. You are a character, and one amongst many. Think of youtube reviewers like Classic Game Room. Unless you followed his reviews, you'd never know his name was Mark.

Alternately, you could be The Gaming Philanthropist.

hm, so your take is to give the show the name, and not myself. I guess it could work, and instead of adding a 'hello im ---', I can skip it and never really refer to myself.

That's the basic idea. It depends on what you're going for.

It's 7:30am and I haven't had any caffeine yet so that's the best I can come up with at the time being.

All I'm saying is, if you're having problems coming up with a Name for yourself/ your show.. I'm worried about how tough of a time you're going to have coming up with content.. . . or maybe we'll see a thread called "What should my show be about?" bwa ha ha.

But as people have said before, give the show a catchy name and keep your name.

Look at Video Games Awesome / Awesome Video games, the former uses all the people's real names. Now go look up the format for writing a script and get to it!!

worry not about scripting, im nearly done my first one, and intend to get the footage tommorow.

im just bitchy about finding a name and a title I can stick with from day 1.
