Nah i don't like the manga that much to be honest.

Look i am not a fanatic anime watcher. I take anime as another media of storytelling, just like other movies and tv series and the like. I dont, like most people, judge an anime with another anime, of course i might do that at some point but most of the times i just see it as it is. So with that said my top 3 list of anime is:

Death Note
GTO
Bleach 1-62

Death Note is first because let's face it, it has a great story, original and complex characters and amazing storytelling.

Great Teacher Onizuka because it's just beautiful, you love the characters, the stories are great and in the end it just makes you feel good.

Bleach 1-62 because even though it takes all the stereotypes from all the other anime and mangas, the overall quality is very good.

I am not an anime fanatic, so what I look for are anime that can compare to other forms of entertainment and not only with other anime.

You should watch more anime man, you've started well with Death Note and Bleach, but this isn't 3 years ago. There are many new awesome shows as well as loads in the past you've missed

The bleach manga's started to annoy me again.



Also, I can't fathom how people think Death Note was amazing. Yes, the first few eps were really really good...up until L died good, but after that it just got annoying...so someone as smart as L couldn't figure it out, but some little kid he grew up with could? please. The moment L died the stuff was just annoying and seemed a bit repetitive.

Oh look, another chapter of Bleach where absolutely nothing happens. What a shocker.

*slams head against the wall* stupid...stupid...stupid plot twists...i can see it now (this is before the chapter is released today) either Aizen is still alive, or ichigo gets the hogoukyu and is able to become a shinigami again, either way its lame. If either of these happen, you know Bleach has just turned into a giant anime that u can immedietly expect whats going to happen, which is no fun.

Im more psyched about the 59 page One Piece chapter! Yayyy one piece! If you ask me this is how those boring training chapters in bleach should of been. Instead of just wasting our time with shitty manga chapters. You cut out for awhile, in this case 2 years and just show brief images of their training or how they learned these moves, instead of just having 6 chapters where they just talk about the logic of learning some move or the appropriate way to unleash a technique.

the Bleach anime will end after the battle with Aizen. however this probably just means that they will be on hiatus until Kubo gets ahead in the manga so they can pull a Shippuden and make Bleach 2.0 with the new arcs as Kubo plans bleach to continue for TEN FREAKING YEARS

Kubo wants to do the series for ten years. All his editors wants it to last 30

Leave. It's going to be just as awful as Naruto at this rate, in a constant state of good and terrible and finding new ways to make you rage.

Then again, I'm the guy still reading that god awful Kannazuki no Miko remake, so I'm not the guy to give the advice I suppose.

Naruto's getting interesting IMO, finally we see a strong Naruto.

Bleach is meh at the moment, I dig Ichigo's fullbring but the whole fullbring concept is like a half assed attempt to be Law of Ueki. Kubo's getting desperate.

I give it five chapters before an idiotic deus ex machina or a character no one cares about hogs the story.

That's the thing with overarching stories, especially a story with a lot of characters like Naruto. Kishimoto tries to give a spotlight chapter for each character, like the Choji chapter or that other black dude that wielded the fan. Think of it as a circle jerk. We haven't seen Sasuke in a while so I'm guessing at some point this year he's the Deus Ex Machina you're looking for.

Bleach had the same problem the last arc at one point Kubo just gave up and said "fuck it they won't miss Ishida or Chad or Inoue" He tried to tell too much with so many characters that he starts neglecting the main central ones.
