In Invader Zim each Invader was given a S.I.R. Robot. That standed for Standard Information Retrieval. G.I.R. introduced himself as such and did not know what the G stood for. As a side note, that "bloody GIR" appears hidden in various frames of the later part of the Invader Zim series. It is always hidden though."
