So long and thanks for all the fish!

It'll be odd not getting the weekly fix of podcast goodness but a monthly show sounds awesome! :-D

Looking forward to TWO MONTHS of new content

so long as it includes NEW TOP TENS, but Top 5's are always awesome! But Final Fantasy pipped Movie References as being my favorite top 5,

good times ahead at the game heroes! :-D

This may be for the best, since it will give you more to talk about on the show. I'm curious as to how the monthly format will play out. For those itching for a weekly fix though I imagine that The Prototype & The Yamagato Industries Business Report will be there for your needs.

Also, just to clarify, just because Yamagato talks about Anime & Comics DOESN'T mean that's ALL we talk about, we talk about movies, tv shows, videogames, and all that other good stuff, so try to keep your ears listening to that. It may not be anyone from the main show (although maybe we can get a couple guest co-hosts with some of this extra free time they have), but it's still a fun time to be had.

that a bit like i was going to write. i was really used to watch the podcast every week. but let's see how that monthly thing works out. it helped the avgn too (my opinion) to focus more work in one show and not to rush it out.

Plus, let's not forget how shitcrazy time management becomes with a baby due at any moment.

There are Prototype and Yamagato every week, so it's not like everyone's hurting for content.

Y'know people have mentioned the lack of a tech podcast, maybe one where some where a few of us get together and talk tech and troubleshoot, but post it on the facebook group?

To be honest I'm kind of glad you guys have made this decision. I like the GH podcast but I believe it needed a revamping of some kind. With the Prototype here I didn't think this site really needed 2 weekly podcasts, and there have been some episodes where to me at least it seemed like you guys were doing one just to do one.

smodcast (and a few others on its network)
Drunk Tank
NSFW (and a few other twit live shows)
stuff from cinemassacre and cinema snob
videos of people getting their shit ruined

Also, the internet is LOADED with porn, just sayin'

I think everyone will soon find that this is a good thing for all of us. The monthly podcast will be far more robust and polished. There will be new segments and new stuff week to week (not just news, finds, ?s). As far as length goes expect a longer show. Not to mention the daily content that this extra time will afford us! I'm really excited about this change and I really hope everyone else is too.

If you're jonesing for some TGH action every week, you have Tom, Mike D, and Jason on the Prototype, the awesome duders with the always entertaining Yamagato Industries Business Report, and also my almost weekly live stream with special guests each week. Thank for being an awesome community and rolling with the punches with us guys!

As a viewer since the first days of the site, i can say i'm EXCITED with this.

True its a shame to see the familiar podcast go, but we know they were not happy with it, and was mostly questions. That's not a bad thing, but was lacking some content.

With the monthly one, we will see how it goes. Im excited to see what they trow our way, also want to see other stuff, like the music, the show Joe had (with classiman i think..) and of course we still have prototype.

Its sad to see things we like go, but this will bring a better future, or so I hope.

PS: I like the new mickey/classiman show already!
