Ah crap I probably screw up by selecting not continuing the game with my character. I guess I wasn't thinking at the end... :ohnoes:

Can't you just restart and use your old character? Vanilla ME2 story sucks cock.

Yeah I guess I could but I don't want to have to play through parts of the game again just to see the new DLC. I guess I'll play-through it with my female Shepard when I do a run through with her and maybe some other time with my male Shepard. When I first beat the game, I forgot that the DLC was coming out so I selected to have the option to replay the game again with my male Shepard encase I need him for a harder difficulty.

Oh yeah, I forgot you could do that. Well, if you are going to replay on a harder difficulty, you can still use that Shepard. Either way you're going to have to have a completed game in order to be able to transfer them over to ME3.

Liara DLC was fucking amazing. Give Bioware your 10 dollars IMMEDIATELY. This isn't some piss-ant story. This story will have MAJOR ramifications in ME3 (or at least it very well should.)

haha how does liara act if in ME 1 i did the freaky-deak with Liara, then in ME2 I jumped mirandas bones?

I lent my copy of ME2 to my step-brother-in law , whom is in the process of moving so I probably wont be able to play this for at least a month.

Chances are she'll be upset I would imagine, or you may screw your chances to screw her (yes, you can bang Liara in the DLC, I realize that's the most important question for most folk.) It was really cool to have all this opportunity to finally sit down and talk about my relationship with Liara and how she's changed over the years, etc.

I'm pretty sure all you need is something to connect your X-Box to the interwebz somehow and purchase the MSpoints to get the DLC.

I did that but it made my internet speed slow as fuck.

Well, do that, and then unplug it after you downloaded it. You don't need to be online to use the DLC.

Go ahead and spoil the Liara DLC since I don't own the game and am not going to be able to get it. If it explains anything between ME1 and 2 or has any tiers to 3 I'd like to know.

Im playing the first one for the very first time and im loving it im only like 11 hours in but its amazing so far so happy to finally get to play it.

After a love making session with dragon age that by the way I did not get to finish and I was about 30 hours in and my ps3 broke so that w as awful I was over excited to start this.

edit-I beat the first mass effect and now playing the second ;)

Link? Are these mass effect comics something you read? is there many of them? They look very cool looks like something I would be very interested in getting.

As in do I read them or are you supposed to read them? ;)

Right now there are three comics in existence, in terms of "stories".

The first is a 4 issue comic called Mass Effect Redemption, it stars Liara T'Soni and takes place post-Normandy explosion & pre-Resurrection at Cerberus. It's basically the search for your remains, and delves into a lot of the backstory of the Shadow Broker DLC that came out for ME2. It's collected in trade paperback.

The second is the comic I linked to above, Mass Effect: Inquisition, which talks about Bailey from C-Sec, I think it takes place during ME2, I haven't read it yet but it's available for free on USAToday's website and I'm sure someone downloaded the images somewhere as well, Google it.

The third comic isn't out yet, it's called Mass Effect: Evolution (yes they all end in -ion), and it is supposed to cover some of the backstory surrounding the Illusive Man. This will be a 4 issue series that will eventually be collected in trade paperback.

There are also novels that are out if you're the book reading type. The important thing to keep in mind about all these comics/books are that they are CANONICAL, which means all the stuff in those books/comics are just as important to the story as the story in the games are, it's not fan fiction. The game may reference things from the books or comics and it could enhance your gaming/story experience.

Oh god, I really hope not.

If anything it would detract from the 'immersion' of the game. For example, in one of your screens it said 'Councillor Udina'

Cool, but in my continuity Udina isn't Councillor.

Blizzard has been quite bad at doing this for years. In Starcraft II they reference a ton of stuff from cancelled products, or comics and novels that if you haven't read before you would be lost...like most of the people that played Starcraft II.

Then again Mass Effect II already did have references to the Iphone game that nobody played...
