Yeah the Crocop/Fedor fight was really good. Crocop is awesome I still like him despite his recent run in UFC.

Try http://www.dailymotion.com. Just type in the name of the fighter you are looking for and you'll usually get a laundry list of videos. I recommend typing in Cro Cop and checking out any of those videos.

No problem. That's usually the site I check out if I miss a PPV or a television broadcast of a fight I want to see. Always quick up there, usually quality videos, and lots of them. Just don't spread the word too much or White and UFC will go after them.

Yeah, Sudo tends to do that to people. Too bad he's retired as he was undoubtedly one of the most dominant fighters ever (and one of the most entertaining).

I concur on both points man. I dig GSP, he's one of the best fighters in the world imo, I think he has the best chance to beat Penn. Actually a really good chance. I was also happy when Sherk got kneed in the face at the end of his and Penn's fight. I was always afraid of Penn's conditioning but he wasn't gassed during that fight at all.

Penn's one of my favorite fighters. I visit his site and watch videos. Not because I care about how his team trains but just to see the beautiful environment he gets to train at in Hilo, Hawaii. I get really jealous.

GSP's a great fighter for sure and a very versatile one at that.

Penn may now be one of my favourites but there's no denying that, like Fedor, he was born for the sport. Also I don't think Penn's conditioning has been a problem since his return to the ring; he's learned his lesson the hard way.

I'd love to see a rematch between Gomi and Penn too; both hit hard as hell, both have great wrestling and both are entertaining to watch. Plus I'd like to see if Gomi's learned a few new tricks lately.

I want to bring this thread back just to say Anderson Silva got named most dangerous man in the world on the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards. Granted it's one of those dumb Spike award shows, but still, there's not really much anyone can say to dispute the choice. Not only against the other nominee, but against anybody in the world. While I love A. Silva and agree that he is a stone cold badass I'm tempted to play the Fedor card, seeing as Fedor's only loss came via a cut from an illegal blow (and he later kicked the fighter in question's ass). There's really only one thing that would keep me from saying A. Silva is the badass instead of a badass and I'll sum it up with Flying Legscissor Heelhook

I agree that Fedor might be...MIGHT BE...the best fighter in the world. But I agree with Anderson being named "Most Dangerous Man" in the world. I see Fedor as being most skilled and can probably win more fights before the career is over, but many of Fedors fights end in submissions. I see "Dangerous" as meaning the potential to BRUTALLY end a fight. Fedor ends fights clean and neat and it's an art form in and of itself. The Spider though...whoa...in his UFC career he's had what...two guys get out of the first round? And his KO to sub ratio is 2-1 one right now. Knockouts vs. Leben, Franklin, Marquardt, and Franklin again. Subs vs. Lutter and Henderson. Of the 5 fighters, only Marquardt and Henderson made it to the second round, and for Marquardt it was just barely.

Then when you look at the viciousness of Silvas knockouts...whoa. Plus, Anderson is now going to beef up to LHW, and Anderson will go to the organization that has the fights. Don't get me wrong, I like Fedor, liked him in Pride and will like it if he stays with Affliction, but if he doesn't, what else will he do? Find that big ass asian freak show again? I'm among those who respect Fedor, but want to call him out and tell him to fight against real fighters again.

When we're talking brutal we can't forget that subs can be just as brutal as KOs (don't believe me? Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmPmau4BL78) and many of Fedor's subs have been sick as hell (check out him vs Ogawa, Fujita and Randleman). Also I'd want to say that Silva probably has the cleanest striking in MMA so calling him brutal and Fedor clean doesn't really sound right; when Fedor strikes his opponents it's with wild, swinging bombs that hit like sledgehammers. Silva's striking is with surgical precision and he picks his opponents apart.

Still, I'll concede the point as it's Spike we're talking about here.

Anderson walks around at around 210-220 so I wouldn't worry; he'll most likely beat some ass (hell, if Sakurai could beat Ricco Rodriguez in ADCC anything's possible). Regarding Fedor: he really doesn't have anything left to prove to me. His record is a veritable who's who of the MMA heavyweight division and there are really only four names left: Cotoure, Arlovski, Barnett and Sylvia. After that there are no fighters left to fight (unless of course we get some new fighter up to his level within that time). He could retire today and be considered a legend of the sport.

Let's all get ready to cross Sylvia's name off that list. I feel Cotoure/Fedor will happen before it's all said and done. Same with Barnett/Fedor. The only guy I'd be somewhat afraid of if I was Fedor is Baby Face. But this is coming from someone who thought Crocop would beat Fedor. After that match, I said I would never bet against Fedor ever again.

I love Anderson Silva though. It's sad that Rich Franklin has to be in the same weight class as him. He needs to either move up or down cause I don't see any reason for him being in that class considering who the champion is. It's gonna be a dead end for Franklin everytime.

I love Forrest. I think he's a great fighter and seems like a real cool guy, a guy you want to root for. Unfortunately, he's facing Quinton. If Q doesn't get gassed, he has this one in the bag imo. Anything can happen though. I don't even know who's on the undercard for this event.

Oh and what's the deal with Anderson moving up in weight? The second I heard that, I thought fucking Dana was on his knees begging and pleading for him to move up in weight cause there would be no way Dana's boy Rich Franklin could ever get the title again. Watch, give it a year and Franklin will have the belt back cause Daddy Dana made it so. Sorry for the rant, I just can't stand Dana sometimes. I have no idea how all this went down but this is just my theory.

Q bloodied him up and won every round but one and they gave it to Forrest. *shakes head* Forrest hurt Jacksons leg a bit and attempted a few subs(key word is "attempted") and Jackson connecting punches every round and won 4 of 5 of them by my count and he lost. Wow. *shakes head*

Yeah I am no longer going to watch UFC until Forrest is not the champion anymore. First off, he's a bad fighter. He isn't even ranked in the top 5 in his weight class. Second off, he didn't deserve to win that fight. He got lucky by hurting Rampage with that leg kick and like you said, he lost 4 out of 5 of the rounds. The only round he should have won is the round that he was on top of Rampage the whole time.

I think Rampage underestimated him a little bit but he still should have won that fight. You could see Dana White arguing with a judge before the score was announced in the background and the fact that Las Vegas boo'd him even though he was fighting out of Las Vegas speaks volumes.

Ugh, I hate to sound like such a curmudgeon and always have to go straight to the Dana factor. Rampage did underestimate him but he still won in my eyes. I think just the fact that since Forrest made it so the judges could use something to argue him winning they made it so he won. But I mean if he got undeniably romped, of course Quinton would've won but since Forrest gave the judges an opening, something to hold onto, something arguable. He won. He did enough. I had the fight 70%-30% for Q and I think that was about the most the judges could go to get it to Forrest. If it was 80%-20% Q, they wouldn't be able to justify giving Forrest the decision. Yeah the booing did speak volumes.

Dana doesn't want Pride guys to hold any UFC belts.

Yeah, if Sylvia goes in there with his regular strategy of hugging against the cage he'll get killed... but maybe he'll use the amazing strategy of jabbing and then... jabbing again!
The only way I see Sylvia winning is by a long and arduous decision. I see him losing in many more ways.

Barnett would probably be the toughest opponent seeing as he's very much like Big Nog (though I don't think his striking is as sharp as Nog's). It would make an interesting fight and I'd love to see Barnett go for some leglocks.

Franklin can't move down, that's for sure; he's a huge middleweight and probably walks around at 220. As for Dana protecting some fighters... well, I've heard rumors of a kind of inner circle within the UFC where Franklin, Liddell and Sherk (among others) belong. This could explain why, for example, Sherk got so many second chances from Dana (I mean, White only took action due to media pressure FFS). In the end who knows?

Also, please don't spoil the results of fights like that! I haven't gotten a chance to see the PPV yet
