Not to make a spin-off of the drop topic, since I only post in there, but...
I'm curious as to how much people here spend on comics a week. Honestly. Also, if you pirate comics, nobody is going to judge you, so feel free to mention how many comics you actually buy in comparison to how many comics you download.
Personally, I don't pirate shit unless it's old. I try to buy single issues if I can, and if the series sucks, I try to find them at Comic Cons for a buck a piece.
I spend something like... 150 bucks a month on comics. Which is pretty ridiculous to me. Ideally, I'd LOVE to be in the 100 dollar a month region, but that would involve a LOT of dropping and less opportunity for me to explore new series/limiteds.
So, normally, when do you guys jump off a comic for purchasing, is it price point, writers, storylines, upcoming arcs, artists?
Personally, I've decided to bail out on Deadpool as much as possible. Not 100%, but I don't need to be buying 5 different Deadpool titles a month, especially when most of it is average at best, with the occasional gem here and there.
