Hello everyone. (this is going to be long, buckle up)

I have a new idea for an intro, but I want to see what the majority of people think about it before I submit it upstairs- mostly because the people who will create the intro(s) are the people watching the podcast.

The intro will basically be a photo you submit that will have your forum/real name and the words "Podcast Questions" on it somewhere. It will be displayed with some music 5 or 6 seconds before the podcast questions segment.

*Edit: It could also be your sig and/or avatar if it meets the dimensions and specs. Which would be sweet to see, because the sigs/avatars are amazing.

(It is alot like the "bumps" on adult swim. I think that idea is genius, because it provides quick entertainment in between episodes of entertainment.)

Here is the idea: for the intro for the podcast questions (which is geared toward the fans) the same people submit a clever photo of themselves or something game/comic/site related. The image would be more entertaining if it had some humor or interest instilled into it. Which can be done typographically. It can be just a normal photo but with the right words can be a hilarious statement/image. By doing this I think it could give a better flow to the podcast's segments.

It would be another avenue for 'we' the fans to contribute and create a more interlaced community. Also it gives people a chance to flex their creative muscles. It could also be submitted by the crew of the Game heroes. Seeing a hilarious photo of mickey in a leprechaun get-up with a hilarious caption before the podcast questions would set a good tone.

The submissions would have to adhere to certain guidelines for submission. the image would be a specific size (resolution and file size) it had to be clean (content wise), liberally related to the site's material (in some way), and somewhat creative/interesting to look at for five seconds. The editor at the GH should be able to just throw it in the podcast without having to tinker with it (they bust their ass enough as it is).

Dude i think thats an awesome idea, it would add more spice or zep to the podcast. I vote yes

Sounds pretty awesome. Some of the members here really can make some kickass stuff I would like to see that.

Well it definately adds to the visual of the segment. Sometimes we need to see something else than their faces, so yeah. I like this idea.

I think its a good idea, but I dont think right now it would be something that would workout so well. As it sits most people who work on the site spend most of their free time doing it. Adding more stuff to a podcast would just mean that it would take longer to make it and upload it.

Tom's been working really hard on the podcasts and stuff. I work afternoons so Im up until 4-5am each night anyways and I would say at least 3 times a week he comes online between 3-5am telling me that he is just finishing up the podcast, A-Kon footage, bios, Ultra Podcast, or something else. Just to add something extra like that, even if it only adds like 15min into the video making its still extra work whem a lot of us are working really hard as it is.

I hope that it does come to eventually because I think it would be cool, but with the amount of people and the amount of stuff that still needs to be done I dont think it will happen soon.

I agree with you CRX,

I think I'm coming to that realization that the infancy of the site is going to hinder something like that from happening just yet. Its cool people think its a good idea, but I agree it might be too soon for it to be a fluid part of the podcast. It would be cool for it to one day materialize.

My overall intention was not to give anyone more work to do, I sincerely apologize if it has.

Fantastic idea, I say go for it so at the very least they could put it on their to-do list.
