I never seen the movie. People say its bad though

It isn't too difficult to explain, really. Bowser...well, Bowser is incompetent, let's face it. I could see him mixing up the princesses during a high-stress situation (like, say, in Brawl). It could also be spawned from Zelda secretly having the same fetish as Peach; that is to say, she likes scaly bologna ponies. Finally...let's face it, Link is clueless, and you could also argue that he may just be a wee bit homosexual, especially in that outfit. And considering Zelda has dressed up as a man to try and get Link into the proverbial sack, it's entirely possible that she's also a nymphomaniac and thus was drawn to Bowser for...whatever reason. He is a King, after all. And he is apparently quite powerful, and the plumbers are too focused on Peach (or Daisy) to really care about anyone else.

In other words, Bowser is a pimp.

I saw the Mario movie in theaters. I remember it being really weird not knowing what was going on. Well, other than pseudo-Bowser being after Peach again. So it left me with one of those “what the hell did I just watch?” moments. “That’s a goomba? What happened to Yoshi?” and the like.

Guess I’ll go watch it on Youtube to finally figure it out.

i played it when i was 3 years old and within then and now i've beaten it more times then i can count. it is my favorite game of all-time.

I enjoyed the movie. It was really sappy and cheesy at points, Bowser was a human, the Goombas looked nothing like Goombas, and Yoshi looked nothing like Yoshi... haha, but aside from all of that - and the terrible dialogue, horrible acting, and the worst action sequences ever filmed... but besides all of that - and the fact that all of the actors involved are embarrassed that they were a part of it... but besides all of that the movie was amazing!

I thank my lucky stars.

I remember seeing the last...thirty minutes of the movie and thinking "dude, what is this and why does it anger me so much?" I remember some indistinguishable greyish blob being Yoshi, the Mario Bros using metal things to lift themselves into the air, and Koopa being human...and then rage.

Now just imagine if this was Capcom, and they made a video game version of the movie.

Well the answer to this is a no brainer, as it's one of the greatest games of all time...
But personally, I love Super Mario Bros 2 the most...
Maybe it's because it's so wierd, bizzare, and completely different from the rest...Not to mention it was just flat out fun and a blast to play. What can I say, Miyamotos imagination is just amazing.

Anyways, SMB 2, 3 and 1 are my favorite in the franchise. World was good, but it just didn't draw me in like the first three did...But it was good nonetheless. Supe Mario 64 was another one I couldn't get into, although i was totaly amazed by it when i first played it at PlayLand for the first time...But ya, I actually beat it on the Wii's VC a couple of months back, and what can I say, it was Awesome, not as good as World though imo. Then there's Sunshine.....Couldn't get into that one, so I skipped it... And last but not least, Galaxy....
which was fantastic! But I still prefer the first 3.

I would really love to see a 3D version of Super Mario Bros 2.

I hated it the same as most people. Making a live action Mario film was always a dubious proposition, and even looking at it just as a film aside from the game connection it doesn't stand up well.

There's only one way to watch that movie, and that's with a downloadable commentary mockery, courtesy of these guys...

I totally hate Sunshine, yes, hate me all you want, I wont change my mind. I effing hate that hard ass game.

Sunshine just didn't feel right...But then again, Mario was on vacation, but the whole waterpack stuff and those wierd looking island creatures just didn't do it for me, and the music was terrible.

I pretty much hate Sunshine. Nice idea, yet, terrible at the same time.

I never understood the hate Mario Sunshine generates. I thought it lived up to the Mario name. The only disappointment may have been all those blue coin shines. It still holds some of my favorite Mario levels ever (Hotel Delfino ftw). I think if not for the lack of variety in levels (well, he is on an island) the game would be more well recieved. That being said, I find all three of Mario's true 3D adventures to be pretty equal, but I'd probably rank them Galaxy, 64, Sunshine.
