I find calling a system an epic fail halfway through it's generations lifespan is a little presumptuous. Calling it that should have more grounds then it in its earlier days having long loading times. Or the so called lack of exclusives.

The problem with the constant exclusive discussion is no one person can really decide if one system's exclusives is worth more then another. Is the first Uncharted worth the same as Gears of War and Gears of War II. Or is Halo 3 as good as Valkyria Chronicles and MSG4? Can one game like God of War III excuse the purchase of the entire system? What if your'e a huge Ratchet and Clank fan. Then all other systems would suck in comparison. Right?
What Im trying to say is that system exclusives are way to subjective to use them as arguments for or against a system. Apparently millions of people buy both systems and buy tons of games for both. So I'd say that they're both winners.

That is, WTF is up with your extreme pro-xbox/anti-ps3 fanboyism? The PS3 used to be sort of a fail, sure. But I seriously can't see what the fuck you're complaining about anymore.
The price has dropped, a lot.
There are some really great games, both exclusive and non-exclusive, and the future line-up is looking better and better. There used to be no games for the PS3, but while this was true in the past, it's not anymore. And for your information, Square hasn't "left" Sony. The only thing that's happened is that they decided to release FFXIII for both systems. FFXIII VS is still PS3 exclusive.
And what is up with the load time argument? I've never had to wait half an hour to play a PS3 game. Never even minutes. This must have been an issue with the early PS3s, or you're just making shit up.
Now, you're also complaining about the fact that they have removed features from the Slim. Yeah, and that also removed 100 bucks from the price tag. It's no longer compatible with PS2 games, but seriously, who doesn't already own a PS2? The PS1 compatibility remains through software emulation. The old model had four USB ports while the Slim only has two, but this is easily fixed by plugging in a USB hub with external power supply.
All of this being said, the PS3 has gone from crap to goodness, and you just refuse to see it. I'm just so freaking tired of the constant whining about this console. And don't even start saying that you criticized the xbox too in this top 5. To criticize the red ring of death is not to criticize an entire system. It's to simply acknowledge that yes, water is wet.

As for the rest of the show, it was nice. I like the Mickey costumes.

I am not going fayboy out, but I feel TGH should really be fair to all the consoles. I would like to see a less bias look at the PS3, hell there is a Xbox360 podcast that I was listening to that talked about the improvements Sony has made and looks forward to the future of the PS3.
I am just tired of feeling like I am watching The Microsoft Heroes and it makes me sad.

What about Captain Awesome? He loves the PS3 and lauds it every chance he gets on the Prototype. If there aren't that many exclusive games on the system, how are they supposed to cover it equally? Same goes for the Wii, I never hear anything positive about the Wii anymore.

Here's the way I see it:
PS3 = fantastic hardware, limited game selection

360 = horrendous hardware, massive game selection

Wii = great hardware, massive game selection but most are "meh" quality

i disagree with andy on a few things with the ps3, i love alot of the exclusives that the ps3 has however there just arent enough for my taste and i love the online play with the 360. I want a ps3 but its just not on the top of my list to get ya know

Well, the issue is not that no one is saying anything good about the PS3. Just like you said, the Wii isn't really getting any yays and wows these days. The issue is that some of us are fucking tired of hearing the same whining bullshit about a system that we've been hearing over the past three years, especially when that bullshit is no longer valid.

I agree that PC = win. As for not being valid, read my first rant about it way up top. Price drop, new design, new great games... I could go on, but I won't, because I'm not a fangirl. (I just hate Microsoft). Point is, none of the arguments that Tom, Joe and Andy are using are really relevant today.
