Hey all, it's Mr Black here. I've posted in many different threads about different individual games going on sale (Canadian deals mosty like The Batman AA & Borderlands release day deals) and I figured I would just make one huge thread posting any upcoming videogame deals/sales I hear of ahead of time. Also, since I'll be posting mostly Canadian deals that I hear of (being Canadian and all) I invite all others from different countries to please post any games deals/sales they hear of in this thread. Now onto the deals...

As many of you Canucks know, we do get the shaft a lot when it comes to videogame prices. $69.99 for a new game? Terrible! However, lately we've been getting some pretty good deals on new IPs! The deals have been so good and so sucessful that I wouldn't be surprised if they continued in the future (I've heard a couple of rumours that the Sabateur might have a release day price of $39.99 as well, but that's a month away so who knows if that's true or not).

Starting tomorrow it looks like Little Big Planet GOTY edition will be on sale for $39.99 new at Best Buy. As I posted in the LBP thread, this is a great deal for those of you who were thinking of checking this game out. Also, if you own the regular edition the trade in value for it as Future Shop is $37, so I would trade it in there and go pick up the GOTY edtion with all the extra content!

EB Games seems to have dropped a lot of their prices on some newly released games, probably due to games like MW2, AC2, L4D2 etc. coming out the next couple of weeks:

Brutal Legend, NHL10 and NFS: Shift have all dropped to $45 new. Now if xmas wasn't around the corner I would totally pick up Brutal Legend tomorrow, but I have a feeling my girlfriend is going to get it for me for xmas. She almost picked it up for me a couple of weeks ago but got me the new Transformers movie on Blu Ray instead.

Also, Fear 2 has dropped to $14.99 used and $19.99 new for both consoles at EB. Might pick that up on boxing day as it will probably be even cheaper.

Not sure if it sold well or not. I figured it was to push more copies out the door with MW2 and AC2 being released. If I don't get it for xmas I will for sure pick it up for that price.
