The vast majority of video game remixes verge on the wrong side of atrocious. Meaning that you have to sift through a fair amount of crap until you find the gems. That's why I think that for video game inspired music you're better going for cover bands such as The Oneups or Arm Cannon.

As I walk through some video game rental stores I seem to notice that the games that hardly get any press these days are hardly ever picked up. A game you and I have played together Andy, and was talked about on this website as well, called Section 8 seems to be just collecting the dust on store shelves. I dont know if it is just my area but the fact that these really good (can I call it an indy game?) are not being bought or even rented is just mind blowing. I mean there was even a free demo ON the xbox live market. I guess I just think this way cause im not warped by the man...uhh...man!

Final Fantasy VII is a tribute to Sakaguchi's mother. During the production of Final Fantasy VI, his mother died and was grief stricken. Thus we have terms like J.E.N.O.V.A and how Sephiroth calls Jenova Mother. In a sense, Sakaguchi is Sephiroth and Jenova is his mother since Jenova died during the events preceeding the original game (Watch Last Order).

But for a serious statement, I believe Australian gamers are being screwed over since we don't have an R rating here, Left 4 Dead 2 just got banned, spread the word and try and help us Aussies get an R rating so this bullshit will not continue, it almost took GTAIV and Fallout 3 from us, let's hope Valve can save it too so I can play it along with all the other Australian gamers.

the first Dustin the Wise prototype has shown me that doing a news segment while buzzed or drunk can add an interesting twist. If you drink, I suggest you experiment on it with this segment, or if not, get Mickey to on his segment.
