issue #10 Discussion

Issue #10: We're all here again this week and ready to talk comics. Marvel? Nah. DC? Nah. What're we going to talk about? Independent comics of all shapes and sizes, more specifically we discuss Lucifer, Unwritten, Chew, and Chaos Punks.

What do you guys think of the show?

I think you guys need some music playing in the back ground... just an idea..

We've juggled with this idea, our earlier episodes had music, etc. Issue #11 and our Wolverine One-Shot we did recently had music, unfortunately those ones probably won't be on the site (although they'll be retroactively put in our archive.) Our primary issue is finding good music that doesn't contain lyrics (lyrics distract people from what's being said by the speakers.)

Also, it's not very easy to find "comic book music" because that stuff just doesn't exist, and we're trying to avoid arbitrarily slapping down music that we just "like" or that "sounds cool". All music recommendations are 100% appreciated.

I mean you could always use like every comic book related TV theme (since you used XMEN for the Intro...) not to mention movie soundtracks... and im sure there some anime out there with no lyrics

Our earlier stuff had anime music bgm, I can get a decent amount for us. If listeners want to help us out and give us music to use in the show that'd be awesome, we'll give you guys a shout out.

Yeah, we've been playing around with and without music, letting our listeners decide what is best. Maybe we'll put a poll up about it.
