To be honest I never really go there to view GH stuff, (I have iTunes subscription for that!) but being partners with them probably really helps as he is getting more popular and with all the teaming up with other people is linking so many people together the community should really take off. :-)

I'm really getting in to Sage Reviews. His style of reviewing is much more cerebral, and you get the feeling that he really gives every game a chance.

I sometimes go to That Guy With The Glasses' website. Found it through GameHeroes.

I know what you guys mean about Sage. I respect his reviews and think he really does try to give each game a chance.

Watched the Transformers by That Chick as well. There were some pretty funny moments there.

The comments below the videos have really gone down the drain. No matter what video it is, there's a good 50 % of posters there who are either trolls or flaming fanboys always getting worked up by the most irrelevant subjects.

I went to see the video after reading this and for once I am pretty satisfied with a top 10 list. I haven't quite played all of them but I still liked it. I think he was pretty fair about it and not just displaying fanboyism or extreme favouritism for a game that scores mainly for its nostalgic effect.

Yeah the fanboys are everywhere these days it really distorts things sometimes, thats mainly why i found him to be informative, hes not funny but hes not trying to be, its nice to see someone legitimately review something

8-Bit Mickey gets a mention in the Barb Wire review. Blink and you'll miss it.

Speaking of other talent on TGWTG, Paw makes some great videos.

His video game music countdown is one of the most creative ways I've seen a countdown presented.

Check it out.

What do you guys think of Wez and Larry? the wacky japanese game videos are hilarious.

that one game with a train riding simulator is so random, they should create a swing simulator game where you can jump off the swing upon reaching maximum height in order to see how far away you can land just like the good ol' days in kinder garden

TGWTG has been slipping for a while now, so I have to say I'm not to impressed with his latest videos. I used to follow Spoony a lot, but he's gotten to a point where he starts too many projects that he never finishes. He's another example of his earlier stuff being pretty superior to his latest endeavors. I almost think the whole "Internet Z list celebrity" thing has gone to his head. Or he's just under a lot of pressure and isn't getting the quality of time he used to have to work on things.

That's Ultimately why I love TGH. Their shit's been awesome since day one.

Spoony finally finished his FFVIII review, and while I kinda wanted him to do the whole game in a huge 8 hour review I think that the final video was great enough to put the game to rest.

Yeah, but fuck 'em. I just watch the videos and don't bother with the post. They can never compare to the people here at The Game Heroes so let the do their bullshit.

Yeah, he posted that about 30 minutes after I made that post.. it's like he knew I was going to say something! It's going to be interesting to see what he's going to do next. However, I'm a little worried, as he made it sound like this was an epic piece that he was taking a lot of time on. And outside of the special effects he used, it's the same as most of his other videos. The effects were really something that anyone with access to an effects program could learn in an afternoon.. I dunno maybe I'm getting too critical. I still like his stuff a lot :-/.

Well considering that it's just one guy doing all of it, it was pretty impressive.

edit: I think that the epicness came from the fact that the room gets destroyed and he's now moving out of his parents house.
