Couture is awesome but the best part of that game was Heatley not getting a single point. Yeah, he's a real clutch player for the playoffs... what a tool.

A week ago, my hockey life was pretty good. The Rangers squeaked into the playoffs, and the Royals were in the second round. Now, it's gone to hell in a handbasket. Fuck me.

So how 'bout them Hawks? Down 0-3 and come back and tie the series! Wow, just wow... If they win tomorrow every team in the West better watch out!

It's been a pretty exciting first round thus far - even though my Ducks got ousted last night. Hopefully the Canucks can finish the Hawks off tomorrow night.

Waiwaitwait... You're from Chicago and you're cheering for Vancouver? That's almost as crazy as me being Canadian and cheering for Chicago (getting a lot of flack from friends and family but I gotta stick with my teams to the end).

The Canucks never like to make it easy on us.

I wish my body had the willpower to stay up and watch the whole game, but I fell asleep at the start of the third period. Great series that comes to a great end. Now I switch my cheering over to the Canucks. I just hope the Bruins finish off the damn Habs tonight... ugh.......

That's it, Boston's done. Flyers got 'em right where they want 'em. :teehee:

Tampa Bay is utterly curb-stomping Washington, which is fucking hilarious. I knew the Caps weren't that good, but they could at least look like they're trying.

Is it me or this second round not really that exciting? Caps are done, Flyers and Wings could be next. Three possible sweeps in one round... not very exciting. Canucks/Preds is a pretty good one but I'm finding it hard to stay awake beyond the second period and I think every game has gone to OT.

WOOHOO! Damn I would pay good money just seeing Mr.Black cringe at the sight of Heatley lifting the Stanley Cup over his head :D

3-0 lead over the Red Wings and they'll sweep them on Friday. THIS IS HE YEAR!!!

Lets be serious for a moment, the Sharks have been playing an AMAZING OT game and if game 4 goes into overtime I can't see how anyone can bet against the Sharks.

(Then again I'm always pissed off at the Red Wings for knocking off the Yotes. I WANT PLAYOFF HOCKEY TO STAY IN ARIZONA!!!)

I don't quite agree with that. There's nothing more exciting than overtime in the playoffs, and we have seen a whole lot of it. Practically every night.

Sure, the series are lopsided, but for the most part, the games have been hotly contested.

I would say I would go down there and hurt you for that comment but the Kronwall hit on Heatley made it all worth while. I don't think I've cheered so loud at someone getting nailed in my life. What a tool...

I wouldn't go betting on the Sharks yet. How many years have they been considered "locks" and then tank? Also even if they make it out of the west the way Boston and Tampa are playing (especially Tampa, the way they're playing I would almost bet they're going to win the cup) I wouldn't be so confident in San Jose being "unstoppable." Although a Boston/San Jose final would be pretty awesome with all the Thornton drama that will come with it.

If the Canucks can get past the Sharks I'm confident they can handle anyone from the East.
