Well, my girlfriend beat me in our pool making her the big-money winner.. Don't know if I should be proud of her or sad for myself as I thought I had the best chance at taking out Puckshot... Well I guess I trained her in hockey-knowledge well.

Plus side Ottawa secured a playoff spot!! Going to try and get a ticket to game 3 or 4.

Atlantic Division Champs! Can't believe I'm saying that. Hell, I was a freshman in high school the last time the Rangers won a division title. They won something else that year, too:

Just sayin'. ;-)

Peh. I don't care what the Sens did in the regular season. They still don't scare me. :rabbid:

Looks like you're getting Boston, anyway.

Sens have given the Rangers a run for their money this season. Not that it matters as it's pretty much set we're going to play the Bruins. That will be an entertaining series to watch!

That's going to be a fun series. I'm also going to enjoy watching the Penguins and Flyers try to kill each other.

I don't really care who the Rangers draw, whether it's Buffalo or Washington or whoever. If they're as good as that top seed suggests, they won't have much trouble.

The Flyers/Penguins looks to be the most entertaining first round matchup as they really don't like each other. Can't wait!

Rangers should beat out either Washington or Buffalo and I hope they do. Not a fan of either team. Then there's the Panthers/Devils matchup.... does anyone care about that one at all?

Well now that the Av's have finished destroying their own season all I have left to watch for is the Red Wings losing. I think St. Louis is gonna make it happen in the west but less sure about the east. Kinda want it to be the Pens but I'm not sure they have it this year, maybe the rangers will keep up their strong form, dunno.

Don't count out Nashville in the West either, although I too am pulling for St. Louis (after Chicago of course). The East is a crap shoot. Anyone can beat just about anyone. I can't see anyone getting out of the Pens/Flyers series and going far. That is going to be a hard-hitting series and easily the highlight of the first round... well after the Sens/Bruins!

As a Blues fan, I have trepidation coming into the playoffs. The last time we were so highly ranked, we were bounced in the first round by the Sharks and we cannot afford that again. I just hope we right the ship again as the past few games have been less than stellar.

In the West, I am thinking it'll either be the Blues or Canucks.
In the East, I am going with the Rangers or Penguins.

Do you really think Vancouver can get it done without Daniel Sedin? I'm not so confident on that.

Get ready to be CRUSHED!!!! Ok, probably not, but it should be an entertaining series!

God I hope Chris Neil isn't hurt bad though... he's the one guy you want playing in the playoffs.

I really don't trust anybody out West this year. I know all of the analysts are just saying to stick all of the teams in a hat and randomly pick out a winner cause it could be anybody. With all of the teams so even, I'd rather go with Vancouver cause they have more talent and experience.

For me, as long as it is not Detroit or Chicago. I cannot stand either of them and I want them both to loose as quickly as possible. Wings and Hawks... :verymad:

Alright Sevens, should we get some kind of wager going for our matchup?

I was about to ask you the same thing. We've gotta do something with this. Something befitting of a playoff series, but not too heavy.

I'll take the next day or so to think about it. If you come up with anything, let me know. We have until Thursday, so there's time to iron it out.

We could do the usual signature bet. I dunno, I'll think of more ideas tonight.

I was hoping to think of something special for the playoffs, but the signature thing will work.

If we're going to do that, I have an idea. You know how someone will use the > symbol to say that one thing is better than another? Well, the loser can put a big logo of the winning team in their sig, followed by the > symbol and a tiny, icon-sized logo of the losing team. It can stay there until the winning team is eliminated from the playoffs.

What do you think?
