Sorry I'm up north visiting my girlfriend's family and just saw this post now. Lucky for you we didn't wager eh? Next time!

Ah, gotcha.

It wasn't the Rangers' day. So many chances, but couldn't hit the net, and Chris Kelly was in God Mode.

They play again Thursday, in Ottawa. We'll get that one.

Sounds good sir! Make a Sig bet again? I'll be offline all day Friday as I'll be flying back to Ottawa.

Works for me.

I finally dropped Frolov on Saturday. He hasn't done squat, even when Gaborik came back, and I gave him more of a chance than I should have. Picked up Niemi in his place, and it's already paid off, because he got a win last night. Best move I've made yet.

Yeah, thank god for this hockey pool as I would be crying over my team's constant crappy performances. Not going to lie, very surprised I'm leading the league, especially for so long. Goaltending is key!

Anyone want Gonchar?? I'll listen to trade offers but I may not be online again until late Friday night or Saturday morning.

I'll bet you're loving Marc Staal right about now, Mr Black. He just scored a SHG. :-D

I would be loving him a lot more if he were a Sen like he was suppose to be over Brain Lee. Fucking useless John Muckler...

But yes, he was a nice trade pickup with Giroux!

Picked up Brain Boucher off free agency too. He's playing well so he might get traded to another team. Good to pad up my numbers a bit with you and a couple other guys creeping around behind me in the standings.

I had Dubinsky and Del Zotto active tonight, leading in the +/- column 4-1. I did the same thing I did before, putting them on the bench to protect that stat, figuring I wouldn't need their offensive output.

I was correct in that assessment, but they combined for a +7, and Dubinsky had a goal and an assist. It won't affect the final result, but it would have looked much better if I had kept them active.

Canuck, I have a strange feeling you're going to kick my ass in this week's matchup. Bryzgolov apparently got hurt and with the Flyers not playing until the 28th my goaltending is left all on Thomas, who has been looking more human recently. God I hope he gets a shut out tonight...

Yotes at Sharks TONIGHT!

I'm a fan of both, Yotes being the hometown team and obviously happy to have some hokey in the Desert and Sharks since 99'.

I'm hoping that the Sharks win and continue their winning streak but I also hope that the Coyotes win. So I just got my X-Mas early.

Jackass... I hope Tim Thomas gets a shut out tonight so I can CRUSH you!!

@ Ralphante I just hope Couture gets a hat trick... otherwise I hope they lose terribly, and Heatley breaks his hands and can't play anymore... btw I hate him.

Haha that's harsh. Why so much hate for Heatley?

Fuck, of all the times to put Elliott on the bench. Who knew he would be so solid against the Penguins, of all teams? :verymad:

He'll probably get a shutout, too. Just my luck.

Fuck, he deserved a shut out the way he played. Garbage goal Sidney didn't deserve to keep the streak alive...

And Canuck... sorry... looks like I took this week too lol

Please forgive me if I'm happy about that. I was afraid the Penguins were going to score a ton and wreck my stats. If Elliott had gotten a shutout, I really would have been pissed. XD Turns out the only thing I missed out on was the win.

5-5-4 that week, and still 3rd in the league. Could have been a lot worse.
